The Miele Revolution 600 which we have keeps cuttimg out when the hose is connected, can't seem to get a cheap replacement anywhere

My Miele Revolution 600 broke. So I took the cleaner to Miele to be fixed last week only to be told they can't fix it and to replace the hose would cost $380 which is very annoying considering the vacuum itself is ok.

Bought this Miele Revolution 600 cleaner on sale. Have to say it's the best vacuum i've had. The motorised brush makes short work of clinging hairs to carpets. It's quite quiet and you can adjust the speed of the motor on the handle. It comes with an electric motorised brush and a couple of other small ones that are stored in the cleaner. There is only 1 real bad point with it, and it's the weight - it's almost 11kg! I don't recommend lugging it between floors in the house unless you want a good workout. It's because of the weight that I returned it for a Sebo K1 comfort (haven't recieved it yet, will write a review soon). Overall, I recommend it, as long as you can put up with the weight issue.

I've just had my Miele Revolution 600 serviced which included a brand new hose/control unit, a HyClean bag, an Active HEPA filter and a 12 month Guarantee. This was done in a 3 day turnaround and cost £79 which is tremendous service!
