The Kawasaki KX 60 is a very snappy machine, good beginner bike to get to the more aggressive bigger machines.

This is a rugged and capable motocross racing machine that has been superbly designed to allow easy maintnenace, a children's riding ergonomic, and race-winning potential.
These bikes age gracefully. Regular maintnenace leads to a longevity seldom seen in road bikes. Racing can heighten the servicing required - it does with any performance bike - but everything is so easy to access that with a modest manual most work can be completed in the home.
Our child has grown out of our Kawasaki KX and is preparing to part with it with a heavy heart. His new Honda CRF100 is less brutal, a better-fitting frame, and (oh, so much) quieter but his first love will be his fondest. If only the KX85 was such a joy to own!!!

Well some good points is that it is a great strong built bike and is great for youger kids about 8 years old and its even alot of fun for adults its a very quick bike more for and expeirienced rider and is a 6 speed it is the best bike i have ever ridin. so if your looking for a bike that will last and not brake i recomend you buy a 1999 kx60 and do not use belray oil and ride safe
I cant say anything bad about this bike the only thing is the 6 gears is a bit of a disadvantage

Great bikes overall!! had mine 2 months used it every weekend without a problem! Upgraded the handlebars and chain n sprockets n after 100 later the bike was as good as new... The engine doesn't need rebuilt until 70 odd hours... mine has done 25 hours from new in 1999... but its not a towing machine as I found out... Great bike for somebody starting the sport even a adult... but for someone 8 stone or above stick a aftermarket back shock on and uprate front fork springs. The bike beats 125 4 strokes up to 150 4 strokes... even with me on it... roughly 17hp at the rear wheel... dirty cheap fun.
