Lasted 10 Years
a good dryer not sure if the reviews are best over 10 years as the 5 mentioned could have been from year 1, mine is on its last legs now.
bearings on left side gone or going so makes a lot of noise, water condenser at bottom gone for last 6 years and i have never found a replacement stock number.
fluff container needed replacing 3 years ago, although it is available to replace online but i chose not do do so.
i would say it may go on 1 year more but am now replacing with a b rated machine 2013, funny this machine is rated better energy saving in 2000 on some web sites than the 2013 web site machines now available why is that?
I would assume 2013 energy saving should be better than 13 years ago.
Service and support review sorry, i think this dryer would have been helped if it could have had parts freely available to by when they needed to years after it was made.

If The Whirlpool Awz650 Condenser Tumble Dryer Doe
If the Whirlpool AWZ650 Condenser Tumble Dryer does not get hot, the cause
could be the thermostats. These are easily located by removing the rear panel, but they do recommend a professional, although my wife can change them.
These thermostats cost £30 pounds, and paying for your professional could push the price to around the £80 mark.
Our machine looks as good as new, but this cost will outweigh its looks.

I Have Never Had A Condensing Dryer Before And Was
I have never had a condensing dryer before and was very sceptical. I have, however had a Whirlpool washer and a Whirlpool dryer in America and never had problems. So I decided to try it, as I had no place to vent a normal dryer. I was pleased with the performance. It dries Quickly, and can be set to 3 dryness levels: iron dry, cupboard dry and ready to wear. It has good Antiwrinkle protection which means most of my husband's better shirts no longer need to be ironed, if i remove them from the dryer right away. My only beef right now is that the belt has broken. But it is 6 years old and I use it every day. I don't know what the normal lifespan of a dryer belt is, but if i can get it replaced, I am sure I will get many more years from it. My Whirlpool dryer in AMerica was 15 years old abnd going strong. I am having trouble getting it serviced, but that is not WHirlpool's fault.
