a good dryer not sure if the reviews are best over 10 years as the 5 mentioned could have been from year 1, mine is on its last legs now. bearings on left side gone or going so makes a lot of noise, water condenser at bottom gone for last 6 years and i have never found a replacement stock number. fluff container needed replacing 3 years ago, although it is available to replace online but i chose not do do so. i would say it may go on 1 year more but am now replacing with a b rated machine… Read Full Review

We have never had any problems with this dryer it is now over 6 years old and is still going strong, I can not believe the earlier reviews on this product saying that it is no good......it is a great product and would happily recommend it to others… Read Full Review

if you want to buy one don't there is limited help on the internet and whirlpool don't carry a good range of parts to fix the thing when things go wrong and it will all the reviews on the net have been about heating problems, loud noises etc… Read Full Review

If the Whirlpool AWZ650 Condenser Tumble Dryer does not get hot, the cause
could be the thermostats. These are easily located by removing the rear panel, but they do recommend a professional, although my wife can change them.
These thermostats cost £30 pounds, and paying for your professional could push the price to around the £80 mark.
Our machine looks as good as new, but this cost will outweigh its looks…

I have never had a condensing dryer before and was very sceptical. I have, however had a Whirlpool washer and a Whirlpool dryer in America and never had problems. So I decided to try it, as I had no place to vent a normal dryer. I was pleased with the performance. It dries Quickly, and can be set to 3 dryness levels: iron dry, cupboard dry and ready to wear.
