Now, let me just say that my skin is VERY oily. So while this product is probally looks amazing on other people's skin, for greasy gals like me it looks terrible. I bought this product because I had bought the stay matte foundation (not matte at all. looked greasy as soon as i applied it) and I wanted to know if it worked better with it's matching powder. When I first applied it I was suprised that it looked so good, considering how cheap it was. It has good coverage and made my skin look great (which is quite hard because my skin has loads of acne scars). But that only lasts for about 30mins, and after that my nose, forehead and chin are so shiny it looked like i'd ran a marathon. So of course I had to rush to the toilets to apply some more, but when i did (mainly around my nose)the powder went very dry and cracked over the layer i had put on earlier. Attractive. And I know it wasnt the foundation I used underneath it beacuse I have used it with other powders with no problems. So I ended up wiping it off and starting again. Will not be buying again. I will be buying collection 2000's sheer loose powder next, just out of curiosity as I have never tried a loose powder before.

i am currently using maybelline dream matte mousse foundation, and needed a pressed powder that i can use for touch-ups during the day. i found rimmel stay matte compact powder through the boots website, as it had six five-star ratings. i have only worn it once, but find it is very easy to apply and gives a perfect flawless finish! i would reccomend the translucent powder as it is suitable for most skin tones. the only negative i have about this product is that it doesnt come with a puff or sponge, so you have to buy these separately. i understand though this is because the powder itself is fairly cheap. so far, a fantastic buy!

I bought this Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder from tj hughes for £2.50 and I am very pleased with it and it's price even if it is cheaper in the shop I will definatly buy it for it's orginal price! It is light weight and easy to apply, dosn't clog your pores and is soft! It lasts for about 4 hours and looks nice and fresh when on. I have very fair skin and it is hard to find a perfect match with powders, concealers, foundation etc but this was perfect! It is good for popping in your handbag and topping up if you need to, with out any hassle and dosn't look caked. Gives a flawless finish when on foundation (which you've left to dry in for a while!) or just to give your face a nice smoothing glow if you're popping out for a while. I havn't used any other powder since :D

Used to buy Rimmel Pressed Powder to put in my antique compact but in recent years they've glued it down into the plastic case it comes in and it's impossible to remove without shattering the powder. Not a great advance.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is the best powder I've had (and believe me, I've used a lot - I have oily T zone and I hate to look shiny). It blends so easily whether I apply it with puff, sponge or brush. Transparent colour is perfect for my skintone. I don't have large pores, but with this, I look almost like a Barbie doll:-) Anyway - I think mattifying power is average - 3-4 hours, nothing special, but it'll make your face look perfect for 2-3 hours. Not for people who want coverage, because it's light and I doubt it'll hide anything...

I have always bought expensive powders believing the price would reflect the quality of the product but Rimmels pressed stay matte powder has blown that idea out of the water. This is a perfect powder - light, easy to apply and removes the right amount of shine without making your face look like it has been dusted. Being quite pale I thought the colour palette would not have a product for my skin tone but actually the 002 Pink Blossom is perfect. And it's made with the new buzz ingredient of the year - minerals - so it's also somewhat guilt free when it comes to caring for our faces.

Amazing stuff. This powder is the best I've used! It is so much better then something like Max Factor Natural Minerals Foundation which is so loose it just falls straight off your face- and sets you back £12.99 where this Rimmel Stay Matte is only £3.79. Another thing I have noticed about Rimmel is that it is so good for your skin. I have not had a spot for months!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is cheap, good range of colours, keeps skin looking non shiny, I have used this for years, occasionally nipping to try some other more expensive brand and always end up coming back to it. for the cost, I'd say try it, if it doesn't work for you, you haven't really lost much at all.

I am no 'spring chicken' and have been using Rimmel make-up for many years. I particularly like their Stay Matte pressed powder, as it suits my oily skin, is quick and easy to apply, as stated above, and lasts for about 4 hours, when it can easily be replenished without leaving streaky marks.
If out for a day and makeup needs a quick fix, I like not having to carry a great load of assorted makeup with me, the Stay Matte, and a lipstick is all I need.
However, as I also stated above, I am now unable to obtain from anywhere, the shade I am used to, 'Champagne', but also unable to ascertain whether Rimmel have ceased producing that particular shade. If anyone can advise I would be very pleased.

Like the texture and coverage. Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is the best powder I have found in a long time, cant fault it. Have not noticed any bad points yet.

I recommend this powder. I've had several people ask what I use and have recommended Rimmel. Great quality at a great price!

I absolutely LOVE this powder/foundation. I have never used a foundation before, and I've always used powder, only because I don't like the "cakey" look of foundation, and also because I already have very oily skin, I don't need any more shine. I was skeptical to buy the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder because it is a foundation/powder. I bought it anyway because of the great price compared to other compacts. It goes on wonderfully, covers a number of flaws beautifully, all while feeling very light on my skin giving it a very healthy warm glow. I have definitely found the perfect match for my problem skin!

I wouldn't buy the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder again, its hard to put on and i don't think its value for money.

I would like to see a hypoallergenic formula of Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, or something especially for sensitive eyes and skin. Although it has a light texture that covers well, I have sensitive eyes and skin, and I did get a slight reaction in my eyes to the powder.

I bought Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder a couple of months ago and I am very pleased with it. It lasts for around 6 hours which I think is good and keeps your skin looking non shiny. It is not an expensive powder you defiantly get what you pay for. It covers up blemishes very well and really does give your skin that matte look.
Crawfordsville, Indiana and cannot find a vendor for this product. I bought it at Walgreen in Texas.
Can you tell me where I can order the product or purchase locally, Please?
This item is comparable to a compact powder I paid $25.00 for before!!!!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder works really well, covering blemishes and leaving your skin shine-free and smooth. I'd recommend it to anyone. It lasts quite long, and is very easy to apply.

I found that the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder was really good for softening my naturally shiny skin. It blended well with my skin tone too, was easy to apply and lasted for several hours. After a fairly short time, my skin began to dry out and become slightly flaky.

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder is a wonderful product, significatly better then covergirl or maybelline stuff. Maybe even better than l'oreal since their complete balance didn't really fight my shine and it's twice more expensive too!
