Hired a car online in England with Firefly, paid for the extra insurance cover with Cartrawler has well, total cost £135, on going to pick up the car had to wait a while about 30 mins, they would not accept the extra insurance i had taken out, so had to then take another insurance with them, plus had to pay for fuel, all in all total cost was a extra 283 euros off my credit card, so all together the cost was over 500 euros what a total rip off, they should drawn and quartered for ripping people off, DO NOT TOUCH THESE WITH A BARGE POLE

Firefly - The Complete Series - This is a wonderful series. I could go on about the character types and how they relate to the stories and each other, but instead let me just suggest thatr you run out and pick up the boxed set of the programs. I really believe this could have been one of the lasting TV series had it been given time to find it's audience. Unfortunatly it was killed before they finished even the first season. Think about Star Trek. The first year very few people watched it and many didn't find it until years after the network had killed it in its third season and it was in syndication. So here we are. The Network executives didn't get it, so no one else must be able to get it either. Had it been another Buffy the Vampire Slayer maybe they would have understood it. At any rate we lost a really good thing here and I do hope it gets discovered by more people now that it's available on DVD. If there is a buck (or pound) to be made maybe we'll see it come back. I hope.

For those of you who wondered where the Serenity movie came from, this is the short lived series by Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy, Angel and writer of Alien Resurrection. It charts the escapades of Captain Mal Reynolds and his rag tag crew as they travel the colonised worlds seeking employment of the legal and not so legal variety whilst avoiding trouble, especially from the ruling Alliance who are interested in two very special passengers...
Firefly showcases Joss Whedon at his very best. The characters are funny, believeable and will quickly inspire the affection of the audience. The setting is future fusion of American and Chinese cultures, with deliberate overtones of the Wild West and is both imaginative and interesting. Any fan of great sci fi, comedy or of Joss Whedon's work would do well to pick this up.
