I bought the pv-dv203-k camera years ago and only got to use it for maybe two years.Something happened to the eye piece and the view finder, could barely see anything through them became very dark to look through. it also recorded dark as well. Will play back old tapes recorded earlier with camera worked well. Won't make the mistake of spending good money on a panasonic again, kind of disapointing… Read Full Review

I have had the Sony DV 203D Camera about five years. It still performs great without any problems. Picture is very good even on our 32 inch HD TV. I will definitely choose Sony for my next digital photo product. My 2001 Mavica digital still camera is still gets lots of use an is working great!… Read Full Review

I bought the Panasonic PV-DV203 camera knowing it was very good and it turned out brilliant. Now I own a business that films all types of things and I'm very proud with it. I contacted Panasonic and they recommended leaving the camera open for some time and if the problem still exists they recommeded shipping it to their service center in IL. They said they will charge $140 for… Read Full Review

Great toy. To the point you connect it to your PC and use their "View Manager" etc software. Good luck figuring out how to convert your shot to a jpeg. You'll face lots of surprises starting with look and feel of their software design...
Anyway, the camcorder is co-o-o-l! Software sucks…

As an experienced digital camcorder and camera owner, I have been on the move again. I was recently trying to decide which digital camcorder to keep. Decisions, decisions. Immediately after buying the Panasonic PVDV203, I tried out the new Sony TRV19. I found that it had some nice Sony features, especially the Carl Zeiss lens and touch screen LCD. I wish it had at least megapixel still image quality or at least some type of interpolation. I then returned to the Panasonic DV203 and have grown to… Read Full Review
