The Others

Nicole plays her part beautifully as usual.

The Others is A film you can really get into.

The Others is one the best films in years. With Nicole Kiddman starring as an over-concerned mum, and strange occurences happening, it makes a very scary film. Unlike any other films, The Others is scares you with the most subtle things that lead to huge climaxes. During the war, with the father out serving his country, the rich family have servants for them, and strange horrifying ghostly things happening that seem to be linked with them. A young boy and girl with a strange disease where light can kill them, is a great excuse to have it all set in the dark, make it even more terrifying than it is. With strange happenings it can make you hide behind the sofa. It's the subtleties that make it terrifying, and is why this film is a must see.
