Unbreakable

This film is an unseemly one at first glance. The film leads you into the lives of two men, one a security guard at a bus/train terminal (Bruce Willis) and the other a comic book collector (Samuel L. Jackson). At first the film comes across as merely unspectacular but as you continue to watch, you find that there is something rather unique about Bruce's character. His abilities are subtly revealed and the link between this and Samuel's character is soon discovered -- and that is the incredible surprise. This film is completely worth watching and will soon find itself among some of my favourites in my own collection. Two great actors; one intriguing plot; a truly typical M. Night Shymalan classic.
