This movie has no plot. It has some story inconsistencies. One of the characters is extremely underdeveloped and was introduced too late into the movie which would be Forrest's son Forrest Gump Jr. The pacing is slow. The film is narrated by Forrest telling his life story to any random stranger whom he is sitting next to on a bench outside in public. … Read Full Review

I'm not that kind of guy of watching movies again and again- however, Forrest Gump is one movie that remains one of my favorites of all time. Each time you watch it you feel a huge sense of familiarity with Forrest. Forrest becomes like one of your family members - he's real, he's loyal and faithful. Forrest is the kind of friend we all wish we had in our lives. The love he had for his girlfriend is the kind of love that every woman in the world desires. Watching him when he found out he had a… Read Full Review

This is not simply an account of one man's life in America; it is an account of relatively recent American History through the eyes of one man. His lack of intelligence seems not to prevent him from having a fantastically active life - meeting Elvis Presley, becoming a war hero in Vietnam, and even having a hand in the Watergate Scandal.
A brilliant documentation of recent events, 'Forrest Gump' is knowledgeable, intelligent, enjoyable and excellently acted. 'Forrest Gump' is a triumph, and it…

Starting with his childhood, moving onto his time at college, serving in vietnam, playing ping pong for america, running a multi national shrimp company, meeting more than one american president and being a major share holder in a small 'fruit and veg company' are all just small parts of his… Read Full Review
