After a poor experience with Wayfair, we ordered two pieces of furniture online from Habitat. From ordering the service was excellent, immediately notified of delivery date. Texted to give us a time slot. Phone call from the two drivers an hour before arrival. All delivered within about 4 days. Furniture delivered with care and politeness. Products very well packaged. Sideboard and shelving unit both as expected, instructions included and easy to put together. Faultless service. Note: drivers also told us that if there were any problems, Habitat collect products back with 30 days.

bought a sofa from habitat via b&q, delivered on time, fits perfect in my living room, so comfy, all i need now is to save up to buy the matching chair. :)

Ordered a product online after trying it out 'in store'. Took advantage of a one-time 10% discount upon purchasing online, which worked in conjunction with a 'spring sale' item. The process of organising a date for delivery was clever and efficient. You are called within the week on either of the two phone numbers you provide upon purchase (home and mobile), and if the product you ordered is 'in stock' and 'ready for delivery' a date in the near future is scheduled (if not, then further into the future). Having agreed a day for delivery on the phone, you are informed that you will receive a text message three days before which tells you the specific three-hour window within which your delivery will be made. When you receive the text message as planned, it informs you that on the day you will receive a call and hour before they are expected to arrive. Everything happened according to plan. Excellent, friendly, professional, prompt service. Legs to the ordered object (an armchair) easily attached.

I had a problem. It was dealt with quickly and in a friendly manner and I am difficult to please. You cannot go wrong here in my eyes. I am really sad to see so many bad reviews. What you have to remember is some people are simply unreasonable.

I enjoyed the whole shopping experience, the staff were well trained and really welcoming (York). They looked at what would suit my needs and explained the features of certain products. They considered the size of my room, and the style i was looking for. They stayed within my budget, and even helped me select suitable room dressings.
The few bad points I experienced were that they seemed short staffed on my visit, each member of staff was in high demand, and we had to wait 5 minutes for a staff member. Nevertheless they were still attentive to each customer, and seemed well organised.
The York store has 3 floors and no lift, the member of staff explained it was a listed building and could not be adapted, and did offer to bring us anything we wanted to see.

I ordered all my new plates and cutlery, also small electrical appliances as i have had a new kitchen.Hab.itat delivered on time and carried everything into the kitchen. Good service

I found this review not helpful because...Habitat is the worst retailer to deal with in event of faulty goods. They never answer letters until pushed to the limit with Trading Standards. Their goods are now shoddy as they're owned by Ikea, do not shop there if you want quality. Go elsewhere.

Hi,
it's so nice to hear that no all stores are like Nottingham where the manager told me to F*** Off in front of all the customers and staff. When I finally managed to get a number for customer services I was told this was not the first complaint about the person.
I wrote an e-mail as I was asked but heard nothing back. I know that all the stores are closing but this still does not excuse her behaviour r the lack of response for head office. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
