Despite the catchy and likeable title, Diamonds Are Forever is not one you would want to remember forever. After some real classic Bond movies starring Sean Connery, this one (his last as Bond although he returned later in Never Say Never Again) is a bit of a disapointment. The movie survives solely due to Connery even though he himself is not at his best - he almost looks tired of playing Bond. The earlier Connery Bond movies right from "Dr No" to "You Only Live Twice" are better by far.
