Tomorrow Never Dies is one of the Bond movies where Pierce Brosnan is the famous MI6 agent James Bond. He fights to stop a crazed media mogul whose plot is to start a war so he can have all sorts of coverage. 007 teams up with China operative Wai Lin to stop this media nutcase from putting China against Britain.

“No Christmas or holiday period would be complete...”

No Christmas or holiday period would be complete without the traditional Bond film and last Christmas was certainly no exception and we were treated to one of the latest Bond adventures in the shape of Tomorrow Never Dies!

Tomorrow being the newspaper run by media mogul Elliot Carver (Jonathan Pryce) this time Bond is up against a megliomaniac who wants to televise globally even if it means getting Britain and China at war! With a little help from his henchman Stamper and a stealth boat, just the right ingredients for Bond, alias Pearce Brosnan to get his teeth into. 'They'll sell anything these days' he muses as he desposes one of Carver's henchmen!

The Bond film opens with an arms deal bazaar with Bond is televising back to London with M and the admiral watching! And the Bond film explodes into action leaving you in the hot seat or rather in the jet set of a plane, go Bond!

Ok, firstly some background history for you. Bond was only married once to Tracey (In OHMSS) who was murdered. Yet, along comes Paris Carver (Bond's ex wife) (Teri Hatcher) now married to the villain himself! And like most Bond females she comes to a sticky end all because she knew that Bond still sleeps with a gun under his pillow! How's that for foreplay!

Judi Dench has well and truly settled into her role as M with finesse and her cold aloofness towards Bond in Golden Eye has been cast aside as she takes a maternal role for her special agent, along with Moneypenny of course!

The gadget this time is what every male would love a remote controlled car, but we are not talking about a dinky car here! A BMW with all the usual gadgets, plus an accessory no man should be without! No not a woman, but close! A mobile phone that doubles up as a control for the BMW which Bond uses with style and will certainly have you on the edge of your seats!

This time he is teamed up with Wai Lin (Michelle Yeah) a Chinese agent who shows Bond she can match his gadgets and is certainly no pushover as she demonstrates in cool, cold fashion any Carver henchman that come her way.

Carver seems to have it all sewn up, until Bond starts to tear away at his armoury bit by bit and both the British and the Chinese realize he is using them as pawns.
