If you haven't seen Robin Hood, I highly recommend that you do, honestly I don't know why anyone would not enjoy this film just a little bit.
No, it isn't a masterpiece, on any level. Yes, I realise that Kevin Costner lacks a satisfactory British accent (he doesn't even attempt one). But the movie is still a fun, rip-roaring piece of escapism.
There are great action sequences including the battle against the hired Celts and Nottingham's soldiers and the final confrontation at the climax of the film.
This is a great fun, family film that should go down as a classic as it is great fun. Historical accuracy is not the be all and end all and this film does not take itself seriously enough for it to matter.

Really surprised that Robin Hood Princes Of Thieves doesn't already have a review on it as i think its a brilliant ,epic film!
Based upon Robin of Locksley who returns to England from the crusades to find his father has been murdered and the evil sherrif of Nottingham has confiscated his land, Robin decides to fight back as an outlaw. Even though Marian, his childhood friend, cannot help him, he escapes to the Forest of Sherwood where he joins a band of exiled villagers and becomes their leader. With their help he attempts to cleanse the land of the evil that the Sheriff has spread.
This is an action packed film, with some really tremendous action scenes. Its a great plot with a great cast! A winner every time! Defiantly would recommend seeing it!
