Mercedes Benz SL 500

The Winter Time is over and youget your Pride and Joy out of the Garage.She starts fine and after 5 miles she runs rough

first you check all the normal Bids and Bobs such as Plugs,Leads etc.

The Problem is most of the Time the 2 Distributors which are mounted on the Cylinder Heads.Moisture has been building up while in Winter Storage.

Get the Dis Caps of to get rid of Moisture which will trail inside when your Car has reached normal Operating Temps .Should do the Trick.Let me know if it was of help.If not contact me and I will give free troubleshooting

This car is by far and away the best I have ever had , and it cost just over 4 grand , better than the 2002 model that replaced it, and faster with 25 bhp more on tap..you have to buy the SL55 to be quicker...Build quality is superlative and I really like the sombre interior...This is a drivers car..not a posers car...

The V8 is sublime in its performance and sound..handling is sure footed and stable although can be a bit jiggly on bumpy roads..does not like pot holes...!Bearing in mind the 5 litre V8 will do over 180mph deristricted it is just as happy pottering around in town, on twisties or a long straight motorway run....Brilliant...If anyone can think of a car that does all this as well as the SL500 does and for around 4 grand....your gonna be hard pressed to find it...

Just bought a Mercedes SL500, what a beautiful car that still looks fresh and a dream to drive. You still don't see many of them and taking account these cars sold for between £68-85k......they are now the price of a nearly new boxter (which is seen outside every good hairdressers).

I just love this car and all it does. With the top down on a blue skied cold winter's day it is a dream come true as you listen to the urgent burble of that mighty V8 and enjoy the fresh air with cosy toes and a warm bot!

The Mercedes Benz SL 500 is a great car, and very well made, has fantastic image, interior are all made out of quilty raw materials therefore a long lasting effect. Doesn't have as much charecter than the late SL's but no of the new cars do, still superb in every aspect and makes you feel great when driving.
