Dido's my favourite songstress, and Life for Rent's magical. Top songs would be Closer(hidden track), See the Sun & Life for Rent. Everything's just great-from her voice, and lyrics to the rhytm. But...I like No Angel better 'cause it's more "unusal" than this one. Meaning-different. Otherwise-absolute must have!

Every single song on Dido's Life For Rent album is great. Mary's in India shows off her vocal range. Stoned shows emotion, and White flag is gentle. Every song was especially handcrafted, and better yet, she writes them with her brother, which is something Joss Stone can't say!!

I may be the only one to prefer this to No Angel, but if anything the tracks are more consistent and uniform, and let's be fare it makes perfect background music - never offensive, loud or irritating. And, love her or not, she is original, there are no covers, no other influences, just original songs, with White Flag the perfect opening track. If you like her singles so far, you'll like the album.
