I visited the Dorothy Perkins website after seeing one of their beautiful dresses featured on an MSN article. I fell in love with all the styles and deisgns. Some pieces are simple, some are quirky and some are so unique yet practical. I decided to order my New Year outfit at DP website. I am in the US and hadn't realized they were located in the UK until later. I ordered my items on a Thursday night (late maybe at 11PM).. I paid $30 to have it shipped within 4days. New Year Eve would be on the coming Tuesday so with the 4 day shipping I would have it exactly on New Year Eve Tuesday. As typical, I started to freak out that my clothes would not arrive on time since I realized they were located in the UK. I emailed them, got the automated message and just was so worried. I even bought a back up outfit in case I did not receive my order ontime. To my fortune, I received it exactly on Tuesday probably at 11AM packaged nicely on my front steps. All that worrying for nothing. The clothes was absolutely beautiful and flattering and I had an amazing New Year outfit. Thank you DP!!

I've only ever got DP items online, they all come very quickly via a courier and its trackable. It is an expensive shop but with the use of promo codes, sales and student discounts it can become affordable. My quibble is the sizing, using the online size guide I come up as a size 18 jeans but these are actually too big and end up falling down without a belt to hoist them up, so I recently ordered a 16 instead which are loads better - same with tops and dresses, I'm a size smaller than what they say I am! but when you suss out what size you really are it's a great fit and some very curvy friendly items available plus some gorgeous shoes. Though I've noticed when ordering shoes online they come brand new, unworn and incredibly stiff so take a few painful days of being broken in. The delivery charge is quite a lot too, and to get free delivery you have to spend £75 which is also really high. But ultimately I'd use it over again and recommend it.

Only used their website once but i was very happy with what I've bought, goods arrived fast and as described, the website was also easy to use. I'd shop there again and would be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I have loved everything I have ever bought from their, bar a cardigan (not their fault - stripes just don't suit me I soon realised). I have bought a hat and a skirt, as well as some basic tops and wow-oh-wow. I love it!

I really hope people don't look at these reviews and think 'Oh God no then!' There are many DP stores located all over the country, and I think if you don't like their delivery service (I personally do!) then you should just go and try a store. Granted, usually do not display the full extent of their collection, but the most popular pieces will be in the smaller stores.

It's fun, it aways works. I have shopped at Dorothy Perkins online about 20 times and get the goods within 3 to 5 days. There are no bad points.

Having shopped online several times at this site - I have found that in general a good selection of clothing is offered. Delivery is reasonable at about three days from the date the order is placed. Goods arrived well packaged, with hangers etc. A really helpful solution to missed deliveries is the offer of delivery to work or other address as a standard feature.On the downside navigation through the catalogue could be improved which would mean that the online store could be a viable alternative to hitting the high street.
