“Beware - NEVER use their delivery service!”

If they deliver your order to the wrong address you will never see your goods or your money again. They will be extremely rude, off-hand and utterly intractable and refuse to do a thing about it. They will also accuse you of dishonesty when you complain about it and say you did not receive your order. Even contacting the directors of Argos or Sainsbury's directly is utterly fruitless - leaving you the only recourse to take the matter to the small claims court. “Shocking Customer Service”

Don't buy flat back furniture from Argos. I bought 2 cabin beds from Argos and both had faulty pieces leaving the middle shelf wonky. These were the first pieces to be fitted and the problem was only apparent once the beds were fully glued and fixed. I was given three options - take the beds apart and repack them. “BUYER BEWARE”

I bought an Alba phone ( made for Argos ) in December - it hasn't lasted a year !! It developed 3 faults - and wasn't usable. I had never dropped it, screen wasn't marked etc.. I took it back and got told that they don't sell that model anymore, so refused to replace it. - All I was offered was a refund or another lower spec phone for which I would have to pay extra !!!They refuse to replace it with the same model. “Same day delivery is a joke! Can't even turn up day after”

Order an item lunchtime and tried for same day delivery. Not available to went for next day 7 to10 am slot. 10oclock came and went still no delivery, email, ping, meggage, phone call nothing. Contacted on live chat and told it'll be delivered AFTER 7pm. So the 7 to 10 pm slot which is totally unacceptable to me, will not be in any event. Attitude was well that's it take it or leave it! My delivery was delayed by 2 hours. The initial delivery had a 4 hour window which meant I had to wait at home 6 hours for my delivery! Just what I wanted to do on a Sunday! When the delivery finally arrived it contained the wrong parts. I now have to wait another 3 days for the correct parts, which Argos are kindly sending by Royal Mail. Bought a table and chairs just over a year ago where all seats have now cracked underneath, not only is this acceptable to Argos as the product is over a year old they have no record of delivering to my house ever despite 3 deliveries, 1 return and 1 replacement part. “Customer lack of service”

After many phone calls and Argos saying it was there fault ,the delivery date was three weeks later ,I feel this is shocking ,so close to baby being born ,
