For the first album in ten years which is entirely composed of new songs this comes as a disappointing attempt at a commercial 'pop'record. Whilst there are a few standouts (the teeth shattering title track and the catchy 'You Rock My World') the album feels generally tired and uninspired and descends into utter slush with tracks like 'Lost Children' and 'Butterflies'. The only reason I have given it four stars instead of five is because this album doesn't have any of the MJ classics, it is all brand new songs that you probably would never have heard before except for maybe 'You Rock My World'! When I first bought Michael Jackson, Invincible I thought it was gonna be songs like 'You Rock My World' I guess I was wrong, the rest of the songs aren't like it at all, the album was produced by urban wizzard Rodney Jerkins but instead we've got a ballad album.
