Helpful Tips/out Of Miami
My husband and I just returned from the Millenium ship We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony because it was a last minute decision.Sometimes it pays to be spontanious. The room was great, plenty of room for all our things(5 days).Room was always well attended to.The crew was kind and helpful most of the time.(some language barriers.)When we arrived(12.00)the ship was ready for boarding. The embarkation went very smoothly. We were greeted with Mimosas as we boarded.Lunch was already waiting when we arrived.(the first of many.many meals).Lots to choose from. Our room as ready by 1:00 .W e chose the late seating for dinner(good idea).8:30.Menu was very plentiful of great dishes(order all u want).Met a nice couple of honeymooners at our table.Dress was smart, casual, which we liked. No jeans or shorts allowed at dinner.Several places to always EAT.food was plentiful. The entertainment was also great. There is always something going on.This ship is geared for the older people, but still plenty to do for the kids.We are 47,55 yrs old. There were some families on spring break.Pools were nice but the Solarium was nicer.(no kids allowed).I would make a couple of suggestions.Take your own hair dryer, the ones in the bathroom are horrible. Also I would take some sea sick mediction before you board.I have been on 5 cruises and never been ill until this one.Better to be safe than sorry.I had to miss formal night :(Debarkation went pretty well.(about 30 minutes for us).We would go again.Hope this helps.
