Sharon Coleman Monroe's SURVIVING THE TRUTH, is a delightful story of a middle aged woman, Laura, trying to cope with relationships that are not always as they seem. Sharon has a way of telling a story that keeps the reader interested from the get-go. I found this book funny, hopping, and a surprise on nearly every page. Hard to put down because you want to know what is going to happen next. Can be enjoyed in one weekend.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever had the Dis-pleaser of having to be around. After Buying coffee and cake and setting up my laptop to do some homework, WI-Fi did not work. Having this issue before, There was a number that hung up on the wall that you can call. At this time, the number was not there and when i asked a supervisor about it, they do not recall ever being a number and referred me to the customer service area of the location. after pretty much being called a lyer with out just saying it, i argued a bit more and they gave me a number to call that turned out to be just a service for T-Mobile. after stating that the number is not a correct number, they just said there is nothing they can do about it. I feel that if an organization is going to offer Free WI-FI to customers, then have some tech support to go along with it. they did in the past and I do not understand why they did not have it now. I completely waisted my time, money at this location and feel that my problem was just written off and not really concerned about at all. I will no longer be going to this location or any other borders in the area and feel that with the rest of the locations being sold off in the area, this one should be on the next to go list.

Absolutely a nightmare. Shopped their often, my family and extended family and friends. So I go to purchase 6 books with my sister. I give them a coupon that they emailed me for 50% off of a book. The books were private books I was buying and I needed another book and the old hag cashier gets on her little microphone and yells so the complete store can here, I was totally embarrassed. Then she said she will not honor the coupon because it was printed, well dah you emailed it to me. She called the manager and she was as rude as the cashier. You know you could of saved this sale and future sales of many other people I will discourage shopping with you, had you handled it different. Oh mam, were sorry but maybe I can give you a 10% discount for your troubles or a coupon towards my next purchase. You all just acted like witches and treated these long time customers like gum under your shoes. It's apparent your company will close down and why, we will stand on the sidewalk and wave you bye when you gone. Can't be happy enough to see the old hags out of their jobs.

“Probably one of the worse stores I've been to as well...”

Probably one of the worse stores I've been to as well as a terrible company. Inside the store: It's understaffed, bathrooms are absolutely disgusting, you see 3 out of the 10 people working super hard while the others are just sitting on their asses. I didn't see a supervisor or a manager anywhere. The cashier rambles on about the dumbest things and hold up the line too long with her "singing". Books aren't in the greatest condition either. That concludes my in-store experience.

Here's my online experience. I tried to order books which were clearly on the website a minute ago...when I go to buy it (I need this book within a month and it was back ordered to a month so I needed a jump start) IT WAS NO LONGER THERE like within minutes..They even removed the used books (there were plenty, by the way). So I called customer care..who were completely clueless. She asked the same stupid questions over and over that I clearly answered and basically couldn't comprehend the basic information I was providing her. Not a good thing, Borders...not at all.

Do not buy e-book text books from this company, they do not work and they will not refund your money! They will tell you 5-7 days until you will receive your refund and then after 7 days of waiting for your refund they will tell you its too late for a refund and the manager isnt around. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!

“I have been going to Borders and using Borders.com for...”

I have been going to Borders and using Borders.com for some years. I didn't have too much trouble until recently. A gift card a friend had bought (50 dollars) gave me an error at borders.com (saying that it could not go through), so I tried it again not ten minutes later. It then told me there was no money on the card. In less than ten minutes all that money disappeared. I called the next day and I was told the card had been "used" at some store at 12:00am. What borders is open at that time? And the two closest store numbers aren't even close to what the lady was giving me. She told me she could not do a single thing and just kept on repeating the same things over and over again. There goes 50 dollars down the drain!

“I have ordered 7 times with borders and they have...”

I have ordered 7 times with borders and they have never got an order right, out of the 20 or so books i've ordered from them, i have rcieved 3, the majority are cancelled due to them being out of stock, this was very annoying when you had to pay all that postage and would only get 1 book out of the 7 you ordered (Postage is now free but the service is no better). Also if you apply any discount codes to your order which they sent you via e-mail, they ay appear to have been applied as you go through checkout etc. but they will actually take the full amount out of your account. My advice is if you want a book from borders, go to the shop which is a much better experience, and avoid there awfull online store.

I found the new Borders online store. Its pretty cool, a little busy maybe.

The TV section is a great idea, I got to see what some of my favourite writers look like and they are not as weird as I thought they might be! I don't know why no one else has done this. Its nice to get a small bit of community too, its not just a straight selling site. I shop in their stores, so a nice website is a winner too.

It's a new and great UK site. Bought some old CDs I wanted and they were really cheap. I'll grab my books from there if I need any. Glad it's not ebay! Go British Book stores!
