Very Poor Product And Customer Service

Awful toilet purchased and a badly designed one too. After months of arguing I have given up. Poor customer service. Just keep fobbing me off. I could of taken legal action but after all the stress I just wanted it over with I finally agreed with a £40 refund but still having issues. Staybawayvpeolle and go to your local B&Q where at least if you have an issue you can take it back and speak to someone who actually cares. I would never received Bathrooms.com

Poor On All Fronts

ordered a bathroom suite, the toilet came brokenm and they sent the wrong shower screen. promised next day replacement that never came, but didnt bother to let us know. refund took 3 weeks to come. i genuinely dont know how they survive as a company, customer service is dire.

Painfully Inflexible Company

I am a small time developer. I tried to buy goods recently from bathrooms.com they refused to deliver the goods to any other address except the address to which my credit card was registered.

They then asked me to fax a copy of my passport. I did so - and was then told it was 'too feint'.

A truly painful and debilitating experience dealing with this firm. Not suitable for developing property. Avoid.

Completely Inflexible - A Waste Of Time

Placed an order online at Bathrooms.com, they took my money, then shortly afterwards, e-mailed me to say I had to phone them urgently or my order would be cancelled. So I called the next day and discovered that they would only send me my order if I did one of the following:

1) Provided a landline home phone number and took a day off work to sit around waiting for them to phone me and verify I am who I say.

2) Provided a work telephone number, well sorry I don't have a direct work phone number and even if I did, I wouldn't particularly want to give it out so they can then sell it to marketing companies.

3) Took a day off work in order to accept delivery of the product, at the address which my Debit card is registered, as opposed to the provided address of a relative, where I actually required my order to be delivered.

Needless to say the order has been cancelled, I will never consider a purchase from this company again. Other companies manage to be flexible in terms of delivery address and do not have ridiculous requirements, you might think they consider it a privilege for me to give them my money, which incidentally I now have to wait to be refunded.

Awful Quality -please Avoid!

Terrible quality -did not fit the shower tray. Leaked and wobbled badly, as no support in the frameless design. Sent them numerous photos and films and emails. They would not accept responsibility. They failed to turn up to the site visit. Blamed our fitters for all the problems! Did not post my online review. Subsequent shower enclosure from another company went in perfectly.

Delivery Failed - No Notification Received

I ordered a new bath from bathrooms.com and paid extra for 'next day delivery' (which was in fact to be the day after next). Having waited in all day from 0800-2000hrs (in this day and age how can any company justify not having a basic GPS tracking offer and slot times of at least AM and PM?) the delivery failed to arrive. Bathrooms.com subcontract delivery to a firm called M&S. However, although M&S might deliver any time until 2000hrs, the Bathrooms.com customer service team all go home at 1700hrs on a Friday, so when the delivery doesn't arrive there is nobody to call! What's more, the customer service team don't work weekends! I had to wait until the Monday before getting through to anyone. Even then, I was not offered an explanation for the failed delivery nor initially was I offered even an apology. I had to ask at least twice before they agreed to refund my delivery charge! And still no explanation…. Whatever the stuff they sell may be like, I strongly recommend that until these guys (a) sort out their delivery subcontractors and (b) get a customer service team that actually lives up to the name that you pass you business elsewhere.

Poor Quality Products & Terrible Customer Service

I bought a shower that arrived with a poorly manufactured bracket. The bracket was not straight and the chrome was of poor quality. Sent photos of the bracket to their 'Customer Service' (?) who told me that the Item is not faulty and that if I didn't like the quality then I could send it back BUT it would be at my expense and only if the day of the week didn't end in Y and I had taped it up in original packaging with invisible tape!!!

When I told them that they should pay return postage as they were in breach of contract, the head  of customer service did not know the Sales of Goods Act.

Don't anyone else use this company... so wish I had found their review on here before purchasing from them.

Difficult Staff Shoddy Product

had a cublcle that wouldnt fit because if manufacturing fault it took 3 calls 30 pics and 6 emails to get it picked up and the staff still never agreed that the product was faulty even though their technical dept said it was now waiting for a refund so i can buy 1 elsewhere chinese rubbish difficult to assemble terrible screws a few not even stainless contradictory instructions the worst cubicle i have seen after 25 yrs fitting bathrooms

Avoid This Company!

Purchased thermostatic shower valve online - goods delivered not as advertised. Attempted to get customer service to respond both by telephone and email. All i received in response was a confirmation that my case was closed and asking me to complete a satisfaction survey! I requested could my goods be returned - this was not possible once packaging had been opened. I explained calmly that not being born with the gift of XRAY vision I had to open the package to check what was delivered! Unfortunately this fell on deaf ears and i have been left with a useless part and forced to purchase correct unit elsewhere. This company has absolutely no customer after sales service - i can only advise people not to be seduced by prices and glowing reviews on the website. Avoid and purchase elsewhere.
