Ordered A New Silver Pair Of Specs From These Peop
Ordered a new silver pair of specs from these people. Frames £24 and lens options added another £30 (ie: to thin the lens down and add anti scratch).
Arrived after a long wait (about 4 weeks) and first concern was the China customs stamp (didn't realise they would come from China). Opened up the package and on first throught were postive (nice frames...no scracthes or anything nasty). Decent case. Decent cloth. Even a small keyring tool to adjust the glasses if needed. Also a spare nose pad set which was all a bonus. At this point I'm happy !
Okay, sadly when trying them on the lens felt strange. Yes - I could see okay, but it felt like the lens weren't crysal clear, or as if the lens were fuzzy and too powerfull - especially in the lower left hand lens. I double checked my prescrition and details and all was okay (no errors on the inital paperwork)...so I really can't explain it but it's as if the lens make me feel sick and quesy.
I emailed for a refund and return, but I initially got the impression that they did not want to do this, offering everything possible but a simple straight forward refund. Upon pushing for my money back; they said they would only refund the money for the FRAMES which was £24 out of the £54. So a loss of £30 lens money.
Would I use them again?, sadly no. You may have better look with them but I know plenty of other online opticians that are far better over all (all be it for a few pounds more). This company is from China and sorry, but I question the lens quality.
