I Shopped Via The Internet And Got This Cleaner At

I shopped via the internet and got this cleaner at a good price - It is not too large and has an adjustable handle which could be good for storage - it fits under my stairs with no problem. On its first use I was amazed at the amount of dirt/dust it removed from my regularly vacuumed living room carpet. I had the same result when I used it upstairs much to my shame - there were no carpet fibres just dirt. The long flex is brilliant - regarding storing of the flex I find it easier to store the cleaner then make 6 or 7 big loops of the flex and hook it on the cleaner in situ.

I Bought This Vac Because I Have Shoulder Problems

I bought this vac because I have shoulder problems and it is very lightweight. It looks pretty and it is light, but it's all downhill from there! The first time I used it I noticed that as I was pushing it forward the vac head wasn't making proper contact with the floor, meaning there was a loss of suction. I persevered but it didn't get any better. I rang the Vax help line and they suggested I smear wax furniture polish over the area where the head pivots. They were very quick with this suggestion so it must be a problem they have encountered before. This improved the performance a bit. Then a couple of weeks later, the brush bar stopped rotating. I followed the procedure in the User Guide but to no avail. Again I rang the help line and was interrogated about whether I had actually managed to follow the instructions properly. They said I would have to return the vac to them for evaluation and repair and they despatched some plastic wrapping which arrived within a couple of days. The vac was picked up from my house by UPS on 23rd February. It is now 23rd March and I haven't seen my vac since. I rang last week, I was told they did receive it, they had no idea why it hadn't been returned to me yet, they would investigate and call me back. Guess what - not a dicky bird. Incidentally each time I called, I was "in a queue, but they do value my call". The last time I rang I was no. 14 in that queue and I was on the phone for just under 13 minutes.

I'm about to try again, wish me luck. Would I buy another Vax? NO.
