The pump dispensing system was fiddly, difficult to pump out as you had to keep squeezing the bottle whilst putting on your hair with gloved hands therefore it went every where and it seemed like there was a lot of wastage of the product. Having done the tester, i left it on for the longest time to cover a scattering of greys. Was absolutely thrilled to bits with the colour, felt as if i had spent pounds at the hairdressers. Unfortunately within a couple of weeks the greys were completely back to grey, no colour on them at all. Will have to keep applying this once a month, I think I will try and find the same colour in the normal bottle type not foam - the foam was supposed to make it easier as you used your hands to apply but i still did my hair in sections for even coverage so foam was pointless. Also the foam was quite thin and watery and not a lot came out on each squeeze making the whole application process a lot more time consuming. When you first 'made' the foam, you need to squeeze the bottle a couple of times which aslo wastes some of the product, I have shoulder length hair and was worried there wouldnt be enough.

I just tried CLAIROL Nice 'N Easy Color Blend FOAM Haircolor. I have to say I keep giving Clairol a chance because they have produced such great products in the past but lately, they have been EPIC FAILURES.The 'NEW' Color Blend FOAM is sadly, no exception. The foam quickly becomes watery when applied and runs everywhere. It burned and itched while it was on. The color was very difficult to rinse and left my hair rough and tangly and even the conditioner didn't help much. When it dried, the color was dull and muted and my hair was dry and brittle feeling and didn't lighten very well. The color faded pretty quickly (About 2 weeks) and didn't cover my gray very well. There was only Two sachets (Packettes) of conditioner although most other brands give you a 1.5 to 2 Oz. tube that is good for 3 - 4 uses. Overall, this not a good product in my opinion.

I dye my hair every month and this was an awful experience - even though I bought 6A LIGHT ASH BROWN - it has turned out darker than the darkest brown!!! My daughter asked my I had dyed my hair BLACK at the front and brown at the back! The stains were terrible and managed to remove them from my forehead with nail polish remover - even though I always put vaseline around my hairline to avoid stains! Absolutely AWFUL experience and AWFUL colour - I will NEVER use this again! Best so far has been avon!

I have naturally black hair and I had used Nice n easy perfect 10 medium brown before. My roots were showing and i selected Nice'n Easy Permanent Colour Blend Foam 6.5G Lightest Golden Brown from Boots in the 3 for 2 offer. Result: Shiny, Glossy and value for money. My hair colour has come out to be very similar to the sample shown on the box. Pros: It took only 20 odd minutes for the dye to set in. I definitely did not get any patches on my forehead or ears. Its very easy to apply like shampoo without any help from anyone else. I have saved my 90 quid colouring my hair in a salon. The conditioner is fabulous. My hair is very soft and bouncy now. Cons: Very strong smell. I had to keep the doors open so that the smell is not overpowering. I had a slight itching which subsided in 5 mins. I am not sure if the slight irritation was because of the hair products( hair spray, mousse etc) which I had used before applying the dye. Directions: Just squeeze the bottle upright and the foam will appear. Apply vaseline to forehead lining and ears as some people have reported that the dye leaves patches on the skin. The smell is strong so preferably apply the hair dye in a ventilated place or in a bigger bathroom.

Clairol Nice'n Easy FOAM I've coloured my hair for over 30 years and used many different brands; settling on L'Oreal Excellence for the last number of years. But I thought I'd give this a go. It is the messiest, smelliest and uncomfortable hair dye I have ever used. The foam just dissolved into a watery liquid the minute it hit my hair and was virtually impossible to remove from the tops of ears, back of neck etc where it had run. The smell was so overpowering I had to call my husband to help me as my eyes were watering and I had to stand by an open window to breathe. Then the burning and stinging set in as if I'd applied acid. I have NEVER had a reaction or problem with any other brand or type of hair dye, I do not have a sensitive scalp and can usually dye my hair from start to finished blow dry in less than an hour. I will never use this again and would recommend it to noone.

I agree with all of the above. I used the natural light ash brown and it is very dark! I actually found it quite messy to apply. Although once the foam is on your head you apply it like shampoo which was good. I had the most horrendous dye marks on my forehead and back of my neck, even though I tried to wipe the colour off pretty quickly. Three hair washes later they are beginning to fade. I found too, that it splashed quite a bit when trying to put the foam from your hands into your hair, up my arms on the floor, down the wall ... It's not a true foam, more of a bubbly liquid. I have quite strong hair and am prematurely grey and I found that the colour taken well on my roots, unlike the normal nice and easy colour. I also found it quite difficult to apply to the roots. I like the idea of the foam and it was much quicker to apply, but did find application quite messy. I wouldn't recommend it for people with a lot of grey (or white) hair. actually I wouldn't recommend it at all!

I absolutely HATED this hair coloring. The foam was a total mess, went all over the walls and floor, leaving stains. It was awkward to use and didn't even come out the correct color it was suppose to be. I will NEVER buy it again and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy!

It dyed everything BUT my hair. It went It dyed everything BUT my hair. It went everywhere including windowsill, bath and floor! Within 2 days the greys had come back through, but it has left hideous marks on my scalp that I tried to scrub off but they are still there now some 2 weeks later. It is NOT a proper foam - it is very runny and that's why it goes EVERYWHERE! It's completely useless and I won't ever use it again! It also makes your skin tingle and it has a really horrible sickly smell to it. I'm not sure how they got away with the advertising because the foam is nothing like the advert. I can't believe they've got the cheek to sell this as a new revolutionary product.

Sounded so easy. Anything but nice and easy. I washed my hair the day before as stated. I followed the instructions and put the colour into the developer bottle and shook it. Supposed to activate the foam. It came out as a thin, soap suds like foam. I put it on my dry hair and it was really hard to work it in. It dripped everywhere and I got in such a mess. Not at all like the advert showed. I had stains all over my ears, neck and the bathroom. The colour, Dark Reddish Brown, was lovely and rich but I will not be using this again.
