I have been a visitor to this website for many years and with every problem I have with my car, there is always an answer within the forums. Some members even offer their help in person if you live in the same area.

It isn't just a help site though, it is also a club. There are also forums where you can sell your car or anything else.

A definate bookmark in your browser for any vauxhall owner

Vivaro Van owners, can you help ? My Renault Trafic Dci 115 has an intermittent fault on the semi-auto gear change. It is a motorhome 2011 20k miles. We are in Portugal where we hope to pass the winter for health reasons. After we have been parked up for a few days, We have a problem after about 20 minutes as we decelerate in 2nd gear, at roundabouts, for example. It drops into neutral and the service warning light appears. If we turn off the ignition, it restarts in auto. We took it to a local garage for diagnostic checks which show an "event " with a servo sensor, but nothing wrong at the time of checking. It's an intermittent fault and he could do nothing until it breaks down. If nothing is showing as faulty, there's nothing to mend! The mechanic says that only the Renault main dealer in Faro could attempt repairs. I have a bad history with Renault Faro over botched and misdiagnosed repairs to an earlier vehicle and feel the same about Renault UK Dealer service. We don't want to ask the breakdown assurance to take it back to the UK unless there is no alternative. What do you think, experts?

The Vaxhall Zafria 04 goes into limp mode when hot. The management light comes on, the coolant light comes on and a anti skid picture and loss of power. We changed the map sensor and the air mass meter and it's still doing it. Could you help?
