i don't understand why the acer Z5700 is expensive. it's all Low profile Hardware, you could Buy i7 desktop for around £800 even a acer 8943G gaming laptop, and Hp envy series, even Dell does great specifications for £800, even Build you're own, it's just a Touch screen windows-7... 23 inch Gimmick PC, can't be upgraded Easily, this cost me £800 from currys store the sales never told me how hard it would be to upgrade they lied, can't Gain access to no hard Drives the memory is very Fussy and only accepts 'DDR3-1333' no Higher frequency just standard, the Graphics is a Joke all Modles come with different Graphics but all very low profile Graphics chips, most of it is integrated graphics and Hardware, i wanted to play a Game but couldn't even get passed the first screen because the hardware was to low, thats great paid £800 and can't play a game nice Big screen 1080p and can't even play a Game just watch movies how stupid what's the point they could of stuck Nvidia 8800M, 9800m, ATI 5650m 240m, noooo they couldn't let's stick all low profile gear and sell it for a fortune even with the low i3 processor, and low ddr33 memory please becareful with you're Money don't just Buy because it does something different and no power under the bonet for a big price

“it's not a Bad all in one desktop, some specifications...”

Written on: 17/01/2011 by themaninthevan2001 (121 reviews written)

it's not a Bad all in one desktop, some specifications are different i got the Intel Core i5-650 CPU (3.2GHz), 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 1TB serial ATA and standard intel HD Graphics, and can take the ATI 4570 and Nviida 210 type a mxm cards, standard series, i got this for my family they enjoy entertainment and Movies the lot, for the latest Games it's not up to The Job. but hold on it does play older Games such has prey, world of warcraft, doom3, F.E.A.R,(Crysis on Medium settings everything turned off),avator, terminater salvation, Basicly hardcore Gamers would laugh at it.

my opinion it's to expensive for what it can do, but still a great movie machine i suppose, £1200 is High just for a standard peace of Kit and hard to upgrade to

Performance with the Acer Aspire Z5700 is actually quite fantastic, especially when watching HD video content and even doing some image editing in Adobe Photoshop. Don't expect to do any High 3D gaming on this computer as it does have only an intel HD GRAPHICS and standard ATI adn Nivida series mxm GPU'S, but the 4GB of RAM and 3.2GHz CPU make it able to handle moderate computing tasks with ease.
