A big thank you to my instructor Yusoof, he is very patient, understanding, professional and good motivator. He makes good jokes to make you feel relaxed. Very friendly and good listener. He will not only teach you to pass your driving test but to be a good driver. He gives different driving techniques and at the end of your course you will feel your confidence on the road, checking of mirrors and speed will become natural to you, he doesn't blame you if you did wrong instead he motivates you and lifts your spirit. Absolute pleasure it's been 18 months since I past my test with mutual driving school and I can't speak and recommend you enough I've had driving instructors in the past but mutual are on another level professionalism expertes I was made to feel so comfotable and enjoyed my experince with mutual and my instructor was amazing and I do highly recommend you thanks again for getting me through my test

I started doing my driving lessons with mutual driving school in november 2014, i took 25 lessons and four months down the line i passed my test, all thanks to my driving instructor. I took lessons with driving schools before and none of them compare to mutual driving school. He is a great instructor always made me feel relaxed and calm at the wheel and I learned really quick to drive with him, also he is a great guy. I would recommend him if you are going to do your lessons and want to pass as you wont get a better instructor. Good luck guys :)

I started my driving lessons last year July... And was just doing an hour here and there. I found this was not enough time for me to learn to drive sufficiently. I started to book double lessons. I was always nervous of taking driving lessons as I've heard horror stories of really mean and insensitive driving instructors or instructors who said nothing more then "turn left at the end of this road" etc. So when I first met my instructor and he was your everyday Jack the lad east end boy I was pleasantly surprised. He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed we automatically became like old friends. I was also very surprised but please that on my first lesson we were driving. He wanted to see where I was and to what level he should start the lessons, this was refreshing as many schools waste your time and money by starting from the absolute beginning even if not needed. Many do not allow you drive until 3-4 lessons in. Long story short, if you are looking for a friendly, reliable service where you are made to feel relaxed and comfortable I would say Mutual is the best school in the East end! Thanks again guys!!!!!

My experience with mutual driving was a pretty good one. I had two instructors, lost the first instructor due to an injury and was surprised with another instructor, Jimmy, on the day of my lesson, which was really unsettling and confusing, it would have been better to be told beforehand about the situation, nonetheless; my second instructor was perfect. He may not be to everyones liking as he is very upfront and firm and is not afraid to shy away from telling you off for repeatedly making the same mistake, I however found that this helped me, making me make sure I get it right next time so I don't get a telling off lol. Apart from the telling off, Jimmy was very attentive and helpful, and it was very evident that he genuinely wanted me to drive well and pass my test, there was no prolonging of lessons which would make me waste my money, unlike other driving schools i had previously been joined to. Not only did Jimmy prepare me for my driving test, he also took me to different areas with difficult roads and roadabouts etc. to make sure he was fully equipping me with knowledge on driving and also confidence, which would help me for after I pass and start to drive on my own. Keeping in mind that i am a person who easily panics and confidence in myself is very low, i passed my driving after roughly 2 months worth of lessons with Jimmy. Which must mean that Jimmy had taught me well. I am now driving around in my own car with a lot more confidence. I passed second time round with mutual driving school, this may be because first time round was with my first instructor who was very laid back and too calm, which made me too relaxed, as i mentioned before I needed an instructor is is very firm and tells me how it is. I'm sure if I had Jimmy as my instructor from day 1 I would have passed first time round :) I would highly recommend Mutual Driving school, especially my instructor, Jimmy. Thank yooou mutual driving school for the excellent service, instructors and also patience (as i would always turn up late for lessons whereas my instructor was ALWAYS prompt and on time, sorry lol) (PS. Slightly pricey for a student, £23 for one hour ... Would have loved a few more discounts throughout my course. BUT having said that, it was well worth my money :) )

Thank you Sam for being so patient with me - after an iffy start he graciously dealt with my complaint and moved me to Clifford who was a brilliant instructor. When he went on leave Les took over - I was initially sceptical of changing instructors but as it turns out Les's teaching was also of a very high standard and after a few lessons with him I passed my test second time round. I came to them in March having had no previous driving experience and got my licence in June. They were honest with my progress and did not try to "sell" me more lessons than I needed. All in all a very positive experience and a special thanks to Clifford and Les for being such great teachers!

Passed few weeks ago after a few months of lessons. The instructor was nice and they are all friendly. One less star for always having trouble trying to get through to the office. Overall i really found them helpful and instructor gave some very useful tips

I just passed my test first time today thanks to Mutual which is a great driving school and I would highly recommend my instructor Jimi. I work in canary wharf so needed punctual one hour lessons during the week and Mutual delivered. They were also flexibile when I needed to cancel lessons due to last minute meetings, usually not charging if they were able to fill the spot or if I had given them enough notice. Jimi was very helpful and gave me a lot of confidence. I wouldn't have been able to pass without his approach. Thanks again!

I had 7 hours in total with Mutual Driving School and it was my first driving school in the UK and I've passed my test from first attempt with 3 minor mistakes .Cliff was my instructor and I would highly recommend him. There is one thing I would like to tell, anyone who wants to drive should watch videos on youtube to learn how to do the right manoeuvres and then try to applied it practically with your instructor this will make it more easier to pass your test and take less hours to learn .
