Introducing the Galaxy Tab, Samsung's first 7-inch, all-in-one portable Android device. With Samsung movies and iPlayer, voice and video calling, plus music, a camera, apps and a super fast processor, its everything for everywhere.

I wanted to get rid of my iPad Air 1 because there was such small storage (16GB). I swapped it and twenty quid for a Samsung Galaxy TabS 10.5, in worse condition but still perfectly working. The benefit was immediate with a larger screen which works out much better for videos. Plus I was free from the constraints and restrictions of Apple, which means a memory card slot and a more open operating system. For example there is multi-tasking and widgets on this tablet. Being able to put in a 64GB memory card is awesome- the 16GB iPad was a constant frustration as I was forever running out of space. The battery is similar, the screen is also on a par with the iPad. It has a less premium feel, but feels safer in the hand- I doubt I will be dropping it like I did with the slippery iPad. The only major downside is that apps crash on a regular basis or freeze. This was evident on the very first Tab and I expected better now. There seems to be no other competition at the moment for a large premium tablet so I would still recommend this over the iPad Air. I would of given 5 stars but the crashes and lag with apps is worth knocking 2 stars off. Actually videos are often out of sync which is strange. It doesn't matter if they are played from a memory card or online, if I restart videos they will often sync up.

I purchased the samsung because I thought it would be a good feature for me to try an android product. I like it but has some faults, it lags a bit and these updates keep popping up all the time even if I upgrade.

I have to but one tab for my professional work. My friend has suggested me Samsung galaxy tab. Samsung galaxy tab. After check all specification at Samsung India site I went for it. Its features and specifications much more advanced and latest as compared to previously launched tablets of Samsung. The highlighted features that are enough to attract anyone are its splendid screen, its thin and light body, providing video playback of about 14 hours and its case adds very small amount of bulk to it.

galaxy tab 2 sent for repair in september as power button fell off bought new from argos and had receipt. samsung claimed tablet serial numbers were incorrect and didn't match with what they booked in after 3 months found samsung incorrectly inputted wrong data and now refuse to return tablet as they claim i need to pay for it to be returned to me and re booked in correctly. subsequenlty they now claim tablet is stolen due to serial number issue and refuse to return said item. after further investigation i found this seems to be a regular occurence within samsung so buyers beware they like to get your money then went sent in for repair refuse to return

I had the old 7 inch Galaxy Tab which was a pretty good device for things like games, checking email and watching films when travelling. I bought the new version recently (P3110) and have been delighted with the improvement. This is the most basic model but it does everything I need. I use it for watching TV shows regularly, the speaker is slightly better but could be a touch louder. The battery is definitely improved and I don't really worry about it running out of charge anymore. It is also slimmer so it is much more comfortable to hold. All in all this is a bargain for the quality.

Very fast delibery time. Great little tablet which worked beautifully straight from the box. Good price too! I'm holding on to my 10.1 Tab though. I have fat fingers and sometimes hit the wrong bit of screen on the 7.7! Impressed that you can use as a phone (although it looks a bit "Dom Joly")! Just upgraded to Android 4 (ics) with no problem.

I have owned the this tablet now for 18months and I can say that for what I use it for its great. I also own a Samsung Galaxy S2 so must admit that I use that more than the Tab now. I use my Tab mainly for when sitting on a train and want to watch a movie or surf the net on a larger screen. The Tab can be used as a WIFI hotspot too which I do sometime to save my data on my phone. Overall the Tab works well and I'm more than happy. Pros: Easy to use Android based so can sync it will other Android devices Battery Life Perfect size to fit in jacket pocket Cons: Could do with an update to latest Android to make it a little smoother

First, let me start off by saying that despite the number of negative reviews written about this particular product, I must say that I have truly enjoyed this item. The sleek design makes it easy for concealment and the UI is smooth and crisp. I have installed numerous Android apps on this device and found them to be more enjoyable on the tablet in contrast to the smartphone. This device would be worthy of 5 stars, if and only if, the device had been constructed with a built-in usb port. Its a shame that you have to purchase a seperate addition for $20 just to have USB functionality.

My wrk involves a lot of travelling. Client meetings, outdoor promotional campaigns and presentations features in my daily life. Dat also meant i needed a gadget on which i can wrk while commutin. And laptop was the first choice. It is obviously more convenient den a desktop. Bt trust me using a laptop was also a task especially in public transport. So i figured out i need sumthing more portable, which is quick in completing tasks nd is convenient to handle nd operate. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 is what had all i needed in a gadget. In order to gt a grt deal on Samsung tab i thought it is better to buy tablet online. Nd luckily i don’t regret my decision to buy tablet online til date. My search for gud deals for tablet took me edabba.com. they had the samsung tablet i wantd that too at a grt price. Lesser than the retail price. After readin the reviews and other details i place the order online. And a fantastic Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 was deliverd to me in 2 weeks! I m totally hooked to it nw..

Samsung has just released a very big news about the latest update on the samsung smartphones. The software update is just limited to a few handsets only and not for millions of the android users. The Indian market seems to be too much disturbed with the update gossips. The update has become a big matter of concern for the sumsung customers in India. This is a clear picture for the sumsung customers not being given importance or the handsets does not have the capacity for any more updates. Samsung either should not have released this update or should have included the galaxy series of users for the update. The samsung market has started losing it's reputation over the night. i guess samsung android users are not happy.

I recently purchased a samsung galaxy tab p1000 after 3 weeks of using it on wifi i decided to see what the performance of it was like on the 3g, i inserted the simm card the correct way which caused the machine to reboot but when i restarted it said no simm inserted,i tried again and also restored to factory settings still no joy so had to pay to send this off to the samsung repair center Anovo to which they sent a message to samsung saying it was customer damage and i have to pay 75.00 to have it repaired, after speaking with Anova and them refering me to samsung and vice versa after after 6 phone calls back and forth i had the unfortunate pleasure to speak to Mark ,who no matter what i said quoted after every sentence "we can only go but the repair report that says its customer damage " he said this at least 25 times with this i am not making the amount of times up after i finished a sentence when i asked to speak to a manager he refused point blank i asked this question 5 times each time he refused as i wanted to escalate this complaint as i know for a fact i hadnt damaged it,, in the end i gave up and rang back later which i spoke another person Ian who though he couldnt help me anyway was not as annoying as that little p@@ck that i spoke to the first time they also asked me would i like to have it repaired by Anova to which i replied i wouldnt trust those muppets to change a fuse in a plug if they think i caused that damage ,the moral of this story is if you buy any samsung product and its faulty on arrival say faulty hdmi port on a tv if it goes to Anova you will have a bill as its customer damage then have the pleasure that i have had dealing with samsung customer service rant over

I have had the Samsung Galaxy Apollo for around 6 months now and overall I am very happy with it. The screen is very clear and is easy to use and navigate through. I first got the handset through Orange which had 2 interface systems installed – one Samsung one and one Orange one which was very confusing as it kept switching from one to another. However, After a few months of using this handset, it developed problems whereby it kept switching off randomly and in the end refused to switch on at all. When this happened, I contacted Orange who advised me to visit a Carphone Warehouse who sent it back to Samsung to be serviced. When I got it back, they had upgraded the system but it still had problems loading up. After sending it back the second time, they replaced they phone itself which meant I lost all my data saved on the phone!! :-( On a positive note, I do like the look of the phone, and I have dropped it a few times and it seems to have survived the impact – unlike my previous Samsung Pixon which broke within a few months! I mainly use the phone for texting and checking my emails, although it is also very easy to use the internet and download additional apps etc, so would recommend to those who just need a simple and stylish phone to use that survives daily wear and tear and that isn’t too expensive.

i would still buy the ipad because if the app store and the apapocltiins you can get.also even tho the blackberry is multi-touch im just not sure how good it will actually be i will need to try it before i buy i guess. i can't wait to see the samsung one and maybe you should do a htc tablet review as well.
