Dynamic-Drivers Stunt & Rally Driving Course in Weston-Super-Mare
I had the most wonderful day yesterday with dynamic-drivers.
I have never gone in for experience days because I could not see the value in them. I hate the thought of paying to tease myself with a Ferrari for 15 minutes.
I really feel like I had great fun and learned something very unusual at the same time Dynamic-Drivers. It is a family business and you can really tell that everyone of them live for it and they make you feel a part of that to.
Pros:
In that kind of high press situation where you are spinning a car around 360 and panic is about to set in, they never lost their cool once, any of them. Every instructor was fantastically friendly and patient. This is very important because these stunts are not easy to do. Everything was explained very clearly first, then demonstrated at least twice, and then you got to have your turns. The very small groups mean that you easily get to have between 4 and 7 goes on each stunt. Everyone was very happy to answer any questions you had and explain things further if you didn't quite get it. It didn't matter what the question was. It was good to have some of the fiction about cars rolling over and exploding in mid air when a stone hits it completely dispelled. There was a range of stunts you get to learn and you get to race 2 different types of car around a gravel surface so lots of sliding.
Cons:
The location, Weston-Super-Mare, is nearly a 3 hour drive from London. But it is the closest Stunt driving course to London. I think that an assumption of everyone's level of mechanical understanding of how a car works was made due to the type of course this is, for car enthusiasts. There was a 5 minute explination on momentum and how you get a car to break momentum. But i don't remember there being anything on the how's and why's this work. It was explain what to do to stop the car, but not why the car will stop if you do that.
