We ( Family Of Four) Reserved A Car Through The Ca
We ( family of four) reserved a car through the Cardiddy website for our vacation in march in Majorca. It was the first time we rented through them, after hearing from some german friends that they had rented through them and could recommend it. I liked the feel of the website so I compared prices and it was true, they were just a bit cheaper, eventhough not much. I rented a Citroen Berlingo which held the Cardiddy Logo since they seemed to have the best conditions ( I was looking for a car with the full/ Full Gasoline Policy and 0 excess). I became a fan on facebook to get a promotioncode and I recieved the voucher the same day and was informed that the payment would be due when I pick up the car. When we arrived in Palma de Majorca, we were instructed to go to National Atesa which has its own office in the arrivals terminal. We got a free upgrade( From Citroen C2 to Peugeot 207) and the car only had 3500 KM on it. Everything went smooth, so we already made a reservation for August... this time we will pick up the car from Visioncars. I can recommend Cardiddy.

Car Diddy car hire.
Thought I'd warn people thinking of hiring a car through CarDiddy. I had a car booked with them in September 2010. We had a late flight and it was delayed - I rang from Stansted airport to warn them of the delay and was assured it was no problem. On arrival in Mallorca at 12.30 am there was no car, but I received a text from CarDiddy to say they hadn't been able to contact the car company, but we were to take a cab at their expense and they would sort out a car the next day. They did arrange a car from a local source the next day, but this was of course for a day less, and I have not received a refund of the 80' cab fare, despite speaking, texting and emailing, and sending bank details for the refund, as requested. The upshot is they charged me for a day when I didn't have a car and I had to fund a 80' cab fare through no fault of mine. To add insult to injury my later emails have been completely ignored.
An update to my original post. A couple of months later I received an email from Cardiddy checking if the hire company had refunded my taxi fare. Apparently CD had arranged for the hire firm to make the refund and assumed they had. When I mailed back to report that I hadn't had a refund, CD apologised profusely, made an immediate payment and offered a discount on my next booking. I have used them since with no problems.
Update - Cardiddy refunded the fare today. They sent an email out of the blue asking if the car hire company had made the refund, which is what they expected to happen. When they realised I hadn't received it the refund was pretty quick. I think we can put it down to a lack of communication in Mallorca.
