“Awful, shabby, read if your thinking of using them”

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! If I could score a zero I would! A two day job took them 5 days. The engineers were more interested in getting food than working, They didnt turn up until midday, they stayed until 3am one morning. “One bad thing after another”

Absolutely horrendous. Let down after let down. Waiting around for hours and nobody turning up. Huge delay in finishing work. Broken promises. Water leaking from new boiler and no sense of urgency to fix it. Workers didn't leave me the correct paperwork. Was promised a full run down on how to operate the system through the app, but the workers has NO idea at all how to do this. “Nightmare”

Originally promised to install new boiler before Christmas, sales pressure 'you need to confirm the deal today for this quote'. The date slipped to January, at first offers a small discount for this but that was later denied. Got a text the Friday before the Monday installation saying they were cancelling and couldn't give us another date. “Terrible in every way”

I have spent 11 months for Northern Gas Heating to fit a new boiler under the ECO scheme. They did the EPC and technical surveys twice and failed to turn up to fit the boiler 4 times. We bought the house boiler broke down after 2 days. My son was going to live with his 6 yrs old daughter as I was going to Spain . We had from local installers to big companies but no one took initiatives to explain benefits and features of boiler and couldnt install urgently. “Are they a sham? they take your money and then don't...”

They are meant to offer a service to help fund boilers to those who are vulnerable. They then take your money promise to install over two days and then fail to turn up . Thus causing more financial heart ache to those who are already in a vulnerable position without heating or hot water with 3 children. “Avoid At All Costs”

It was some years ago now, but I made the mistake of booking Northern Gas Heating for a completely new combi gas central heating job in my house. It cost quite a few thousands pounds and many thousands to retify how much damage they caused in my house which is still ongoing. We are extremely impressed by the service provided by northern gas. We returned from a trip late to find our boiler leaking badly. Having called, we were told that we were to expect an engineer within the next 3 hours. Although she explained she couldn't make any guarantees,he arrived within an hour. “Rude EPC assesor”

I've yet to go through with the work/quote from NGH, but i will say that their assesor who does the EPC certificate was rude. NGH arranged to do this with me but becuase of their time slot (4 hours) they couldnt give me a specific time, so they said the assesor would call before he arrived. 2:30pm i get a call saying he's waiting outside my house. “WATCH FOR THE SICK ENGINEER EXCUSE”

We had a boiler fitted 4 years ago and we have diligently used Northern Gas engineers to service it apart from this year when we used our own engineer. He discovered that the bracket had not been fitted to the flue outlet and there was no flashing around it on the roof.
