Red5 Audio RVH90

Bought these in a bundle with a red 5 mic on a whim as I needed some new monitor headphones. What can I say, I absolutely refuse to complain at his price! Good enough that when my son's beats fell apart (now there is some overpriced garbage for you!) He "borrowed" these and I haven't seen them since! Sound and comfort are great and then there is the price! The mic was OK too very well made like these (actually the mic is built like a tank) and perfectly acceptable performance. Keep the mic in my gig bag in case of trouble with my beta 58. I think someone mentioned there is a little bit of spill from these cans but as long as you keep the volume under control when recording its manageable. Guess I'll have to buy another pair for myself ! I think red audio work by having a limited range of good quality budget gear ... Keeping everything simple. If you register you do get a few emails BUT you also get deals every now and then (like the bundle I bought) when you may get these cheaper. Worth registering if you aren't in a rush to buy and don't mind the spam emails.

Been in the recording game for too long and have tried just about every set of headphones going. Basically, when we've got a band in tracking stuff, they don't get to use my £100+ ear-speakers. Not because I'm a spoil-sport but because its a fact that headphones in studios eventually get broken. Stuff that gets broken needs to get replaced.

These aren't top of the range beyers but for just over 30 quid, they're very very good. Good well balanced sound through the full range without that hideous midrange honk you get with most cheapos or any of that stupid bass boost either for that matter. I like that no money is wasted on needless designer packaging. Oh, and a straight cable as well - nice one Red5 cos noone actually wants a curly cable.

Could be slightly more comfortable for longer sessions and spillage could be reduced but at this price, lets be reasonable.

For budget headphones they're up there with some of the better mid range models.

An absolutely outstanding set of headphones that prove time and time again their precision and accuracy. These headphones are a must for any studio be it professional or for beginner use. In comparison to the Beyerdynamic DT series, these bad boys blow them out of the water...and that's even before we discuss the price! Retailing at just £25, they are a steal...I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
