“I use it everyday”

I have to admit that i'm an internet junkie. So when i discovered this app it was a revelation! It seamlessly pulls together your personal social media feeds and presents them in an attractive way. The book feel to the app and the imagery selection is great. One minor flaw on the twitter feed is that emphasis is placed on imagery, whereas twitter tends to be more about the text in my opinion. I like the news feed section of the app, as it has a great range. As an ardent gamer the ign feed is greatly appreciated.

Flipboard is an amazing app. Cuts through all the info being thrown at you each day and design your own news feed. Saved me from information overload! Thanks Flipboard!

“The best way to enjoy your social networks”

★★★★★

Flipboard is an awesome free App that takes the data from what your friends are doing in Facebook, Twitter and other social media, or any RSS feed and presents it in a pseudo magazine style. It's a really nice way to browse content. Far more engaging than just looking at the Newsfeed in Facebook or Twitter, it really makes the most of the iPad's lovely big touchscreen letting you flick the pages of this virtual mag. Oh, and it's free! I encourage everyone to download it and spend a little time customising the feeds.

“You know all those links that people post on Twitter...”

★★★★☆

written by kirsty88 on 27/10/2010

You know all those links that people post on Twitter or share on Facebook that you never know if you'll be interested in... and never have time to click on? Flipboard takes all of those links and creates a magazine from the articles, as well as including status updates and pictures. It's brilliant to just flick through and catch up. It's not a replacement for either of the two sites as you cant post stuff, however if you are more of a browser than a poster this will suit you wonderfully. My only criticism is that you can only link it to one account. My husband and i have an ipad we share, but we can't share this app. Love it anyway though.
