I had a Samsung L100 but it got stolen. The SL 605 had a great deal on Amazon: a camera is $99 but for $109 you got 1case 2extra battery 3 a 8GB card 4 a tripod 5 protector sheets 6 cleaning kit and 7 a card reader. Beach camera shipped it promptly and you could choose between red, blue, silver and black. the quality is great esp in comparison to the L100. you can hear everything if you make a video.

Cons: L100 has a button on top that besides capturing the image could easily be used to switch between different modes and video. sl 605 you need to acces the mode via menu and scroll. very tiresome and the Kodakmoment is sometimes gone by the time you have switched.
the buttons at back are pitchblack, so you cant see what your doing if your in a dimlylit room
