Okay First Things First: I've Not Had This Bike L

Okay first things first: I've not had this bike long so this review must be read with the knowledge I'm reasonably new to it (I've had it just about six months).

However I have ridden pretty much every day in those months so I really do have a valid opinion (or so I feel anyway)!

The Honda Bros Nt400 (or Honda GT if you're American) may have the worst name on any petrol tank but take a second look before you walk off in disgust. This really is a small masterpiece of a motorcycle.

Being 33bhp it happily manages to find itself in the restricted band of motorcycles that those without DAS licenses can ride once they pass their tests. And, in my opinion, this is the perfect intermediate bike.

It's small and rather heavy but those 400cc really pull their weight in a way that may really surprise you. The top speed is around the 100mph mark so it's certainly not the fastest thing on two wheels... but then if you've just passed your test you have absolutely no reason for getting anywhere near that speed anyway. It'll certainly sit at 70mph without you feeling you're going to break the engine in any way. Which you won't - and this is why.

The engine, though 400cc, is actually a 650 in disguise. This means that even at full throttle it's actually nowhere near pushing the engine. What does this actually mean? Well it means that because you're never in danger of straining the motor the Honda Bros has gained a reputation for having a 'bullet proof' engine.

It also looks really good. Though the late 80s rear end, debatably, spoils it slightly the Honda Bros' stylings sit perfectly between a sports and a street bike. You'll find them easily modified too thanks to the Honda parts and there are some really good communities out there that display some amazing streetfighting Bros bikes.

So it looks good, it goes well and you can make it unique. So what's not to like.

Yeah you've probably heard this before: the front fork suspension is pretty terrible so it's certainly not as comfortable as a modern bike would be. Also the tank is seemingly quite small so range isn't quite as far as you may like.

However,a s you can see, I'm picking here. The Honda Bros NT400 is a magnificent bike and, for those on a 33bhp max license then this is the perfect motorcycle for you.
