When I got my Ferrets I said i would go on Ferrets forum for advice. I was advised not to by others in the ferret community as it was a little catty. Well I decided to see what all the fuss was about, and man were people right. They are judgemental, give some bad advice and they are obsessed with being better or having a bigger cage/shed/ whole of the house than anyone else.

Ferret Forum offers a lot of advice on ferrets and the problems they can get. The majority of people are polite, friendly and helpful. There are a few who can come across as "shouty" and judgemental but that is normally driven by over-concern for the animals and not enough consideration for the people rather than them trying to be rude. There has been some in-fighting in past but that is common when lots of people are passionate about a subject. Has helped me enormously and saved the lives of quite a few ferrets by arranging safe havens for them and offering advise.

I was new to ferret ownership and i have to say i thought the forum was brilliant for any problems i had and they were all willing to help.

There are some people on there with strong views and opinions but i have to say i've never been spoken to badly or treated with hostility.

I've even made friends from this site and i appreciate all the advice people have given me. As for people not getting along, treat people as you would like to be treated, personal conflicts are really no place for a forum.

Overall .. I love it :)

I think it is very unfair that "Certain" people have been coming on here and giving fefo 1 star.

In my opinion it is worth at least 2 stars

I have been going on ferretsforum for the past 24 months, on and off.

After reading pages of wrong doings by the mods, I left it alone for a few months. Now I just dont read anything typed by them. I just skip their sections.

I was a member for two weeks but decided to not bother anymore.

There is a bunch that keep pouncing on anything that I typed on a thread.

One of them even called me somthing that I felt was very rude.

I am very happy being just me and my ferret :) I will leave the twittering old ladies to themselves :)

I am a member on fefo and it is true whats been written. It has suffered very badly over the past 12 months.

I hope it will be back to normal soon.

forums have good things and bad going for them, including advice, members and mods, fefo no difernt

fefo gives owners a place to chat, is up to peple wot forums they use.

look to me like flamers and trolls from uver forums give reviws here

It can be very bad at editing posts. There also seems to be a very bad attitude towards personal opinion.
