I bought the Goliath executive chair from this company. Chair got delivered within 5 days. Quality of product is amazing. Really comfortable! Easy self assembly with good instructions. Great work Lockwood :) one happy customer!

After 1 month, I'm still waiting for my order. I can understand delays happen, but they've been consistently opaque with information, given me the run-around and ignored my emails.

They didn't tell me the order was out of stock until I asked for an update 2 weeks after ordering it. The replacement was "lost by the courier", but they didn't admit this until 2 weeks (and 4 emails asking for an update).

On the plus side, when I asked for a refund, they were very quick to dispatch a replacement.

Very poor service. Item ordered was not available, although there was no indication of this on website, and was told I would have to wait 2 weeks. Alternative was offered and ordered and was advised delivery would be on 14/6 by 5pm. Waited in all day for delivery which never arrived. No response to email sent late on 14/6 and had to chase again 15/6 before receiving reply, when blame was put on courier having 'lost' the chair! Chair eventually arrived 16/6. I will not be using this company again.

A company who do not care about after sales service, never get back to you and never keep promises either, would never buy from them ever again nor tell anyone to do so either.

I rarely leave reviews due to lack of time. When I do it's usually for poor servic (see Home Office World 20 August). After being let down by Home Office World, I subsequently ordered an office chair from Lockwood Hulme. What a different approach to business! It was refreshing to experience such clear communication. I spoke to someone who was clearly immersed in the business, not just a disinterested call centre operative.I was called back when promised, as a delivery date was confirmed for the item. The chair was exactly as described, was good value compared to other providers, and was delivered exactly on time (one hour time frame was provided on the morning of delivery). The extra (soft tyre) castors specified were delivered at the same time. Very impressed. Such a refreshing change I cannot recommend strongly enough. I have no connection whatsoever with this company.
