“Hidden charges and incomprehensible booking procedures... ”

A friend of mine bought me two driving experiences for my birthday. When I tried to book them I was told they only operated up north about 6 hours away from me. When I pointed out they had local locations listed they explained I could change my experiences to go with another supplier who could provide similar experiences closer to me. I did the skin training session at the Shropshire site. I agree with the other reviewers that the instructor was knowledgeable, but I really feel that for the money the experience could be a little more professional. Given the fact that it is relatively isolated I can imagine that anyone with less than a cast-iron bladder may struggle to cope with the lack of a loo. “Dont bother!!”

My partner bought me a wingwalking experience worth £400. He was alittle unsure on the expiry dates and policies after checking the internet so phoned into the blue direct to confirm he could buy the voucher in august ready for my birthday in december. To our horror after being told by the customer services it would all be fine as the vouchers are valid for a year it expired in the september. “Memorable Spitfire flight!”

Had my 30mins a few days ago - perfect weather - excellent pilot. To be taking off behind a 12-cylinder liquid-cooled Merlin instead of a little 4-cylinder air-cooled Lycoming was an awesome experienmce for me. We arrived at reception 10 minutes before our allotted time and were handed a buzzer and told to go away and wait. 20 minutes after our allotted time the buzzer sounded and we returned to reception as requested to be told that we had not been buzzed.
