Sure, maybe you could get a better bike for a similar or equal price. Sure, maybe it snaps easily. And sure, the back rim wears out too easily.
But personally, I wouldn't change it for anything similar. Maybe, if you get a good BMX, you will understand, but this bike has a big sense of character. It's a best friend. And it's dependable.
The Verde Vex is light as anything, and requires little skill to use. To manual, all you need to do is lean back a little. It is supplied with a pair of fantastic plastic Odyssey pedals, with a good amount of grip. This grip, along with the lightness of the rear end, make it incredibly easy to lift the back up, and helped me learn to bunnyhop. I started out a beginner on this bike, and I couldn't make a certain judgement, but I would say it would be easier to learn on the Vex than the lower priced, beginner-targeted Eon.
Maybe it is overpriced. So? Save up and buy the better one. It's a shame this bike is overlooked, because with care and maintenance, it's a fantastic and dependable friend.
