I am a bit concerned where you sourced your toner from, toners for the MFD6020 all come with a card that contains a chip, when you put in your new cartridge it asks for the printer card. This is to stop rubbish being sold on the market.

don't know where you got your new toner but every new toner comes with a card with a chip on it

Buyer Beware The Philips Laser Mfd 6020

Buyer Beware

The Philips Laser MFD 6020 Printer is not fit for purpose. I purchased my first one on 29/05/09 and returned it on 01/06/01 because it would not print envelopes without wrinkling the corners and the print quality on envelopes was poor. I know this may sound like a small thing but if you saw the results, you would appreciate why I returned the machine to Argos.

In the spirit of being a good customer, I tried a new machine on 01/06/10 as I hoped that my experience with the 1st printer was a one off; but no such luck. The 2nd Philips Laser MFD 6020 Printer did exactly the same thing but worse it included little lines on printed pages that were not on the text document to be printed.

Finally the scanner reproduction quality is exceptionally poor and you have to set the "quality" via the set up programme, this along with the other issues that the machine presented is why I felt I should share my experience with others and as I wrote at the beginning BUYER BEWARE.
