I bought this along with a CatMate cat food timer so that we could go away for the weekend and not have to rely on friends/neighbours to feed/water our cats.

Its a bit bigger than I was expecting, which is why we don't use it all the time (we store it in the loft unless we're away).

However, its a pretty good piece of kit. It allows you to have a large reservoir of water (plenty for a few days if you're away for the weekend) and, importantly, it has a fountain which means that the water is constantly moving so it does not become stagnant as it can over the course of a few days.

So, really handy device for when we're away, but not great for everyday usage as its just a bit too bulky
