I had the misfortune of dealing with Solus when someone ran into my car. I was originally told it would take just over 2 weeks for the repairs to be completed, I firstly received my car back a week earlier than stated, my car was not right and I arranged for it to go back. “poor customer service, poor paint job, no QA - stay...”

Solus picked the car but mis informed about my cars paint job progress, different solus staff telling me different things, clear lack of communication between themselves, I was told that the car would be ready for sure the next day only then to be told on the next day that the car is still in the paint shop?! “3 attempts to repair and still a poor standard”

“Damage to the car”

My car went for repairs here and when i collected the car they broke my arm rest's button. It was damaged before from the back but the button was perfectly fine. “Damaged in shop not once but twice”

This was the "recommended" repair shop for my insurance company, checked out some reviews seemed ok. I figured that since the insurance company owns them, Id get a good service. WRONG. The car went in for a simple replacement bumper only one day in, I get a call to say they have now reversed my car into a post, wrecked the tailgate and creased the back panel of the car. “Damaged my car and won’t take blame ”

My car was taken to get the front bumper fixed as my car was in an accident. When my car was given back to me today there was damage on my back bumper. A dent and small paint work damaged. They took my car to repair the right side wing which was hit by a car. This is an electrical car everything works with electric. After the accident the right wind mirror didn’t work and the side was damaged. Solid collected the car when it was ready to collect. The finished product was a joke - not once, but twice! Solus Finchley has managed to leave me scratching my head at how they became an approved body shop through my insurance. I receive my vehicle the first time after the bumper was repaired and wow-oh-wow the effort in colour matching to the rest of the body was non-existent. My car was left at Solus for insurance repair, I trusted them, so I left my things in the car thinking it was going to be okay. The car was returned to me about 15 days later with my things missing in the car. The repairs were also not the best as I still had a side panel on the passenger door still not fixed on properly. “Haphazard review of car”

The centre came back to us after 1 day having replaced the bumper. We refused to accept the car back as they had not checked any structural elements. After a second day they identified and replaced more parts. Would not recommend this centre at all due to their lazy approach to inspection and money saving work on the part of insurers. Yes it is M9, additionally i found that the rear window on the door you repaired does not open from the drivers control panel, so it looks like you have not connected that as well after the repair. This add one more issue to the list making it even worse.

The car was returned today . This was an additional 6 days after their estimate. Additional miles even though it was picked up on a tow truck from my house. How strange its exactly 7 miles ; the distance from my house to the repair garage. The car had additional scratches on it. cleaning residue still on car. Masking tape removed damaging paintwork.
