Hello, You repaired my car in January 2019, where the locks of the car had to be replaced through an insurance claim through QuoteMeHappy car insurance as the keys too had been missing. The repair job was completely unsafe and could have had me locked in a car if had been in a car accident. Later that year the drivers side door kept on getting stuck in the locked position. Due to this I would have to crawl from the drivers side through to the passengers side to exit the vehicle. This was extremely unsafe and later your garage took the car back in for a repair to rectify the issue. After this, the same issue happened again and you took it in again. You then returned the car to me with my passengers side wing mirror damaged and stuck on! I had to complain yet again. The person I spoke to done an investigation and spoke to the team that cleans the car. He found out that one of your employees had damaged the mirror and replaced it with an incorrect one. Therefore, yet again you took the car in for another repair due to your negligence. The person who was handling my complaint was helpful and offered a full tank of diesel for when the car is delivered as a gesture of good will. Now recently the car door began to have the same issue again which was caused by your botched repair job and the side mirror you replace was not even a heated mirror meaning the the side mirror does not even heat up. The door is now fully locked and will not unlock. This is all an occurrence from your absolutely rubbish and unsafe repair job.

My car got picked up, and I was told it would be going in to a secure car park. Nope !!! It ended up in the middle of a rough housing estate in the middle of London!!! ( I have the photos to prove) My car was then returned back to you TWICE and both times returned back to me in a un satisfactory state , trims missing, panels not aligned properly, a step in the paint were it had not been blended properly, car also can back with the same dent under the car even though they said it had been repaired!!!! I was then told by a member or your staff that you could do no more for me and you will be getting a independent vehicle inspection done, which came back in my favor, you then wanted my car back for a third time, but by this time I had no confidence left in your ability at all, I was constantly lied to by the same member of staff My car then went in to a REAL garage to get repaired properly like it should have done in the first place I do not have one good thing to say about you !!

From beginning to end it was a stress free experience. Kept informed at all stages. People I spoke with were very courteous and informative. Car was delivered back in immaculate condition and internally much cleaner than when they took it away. Would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Car had to be returned after repair as still could see a dent. No problems accepting it back. 2nd repair finally lovely job. Had to wait on 2 occasions for a couple of hours after the allocated time frame for delivery of courtesy vehicle & my car pick up. 2nd courtesy car had engine diagnostics light come up & needed oil!!!!!!!!! Staff at Solus Basingstoke were very helpful on the phone & kep’t me constantly updated. Overall couldn’t say it was hassle free & would look elsewhere for a better experience!!!!!

Solus was the appointed repairer of my insurance company, so I did not have to do much. Communication throughout was excellent. A minor detail was that it took a few days longer than initially stated to get the car into the workshop, but as the car was driveable this was not an issue. A courtesy car was provided, delivered to me when they collected my car, so very convenient and efficient service. The bodywork repair looks good so I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Nice to deal with a company that works professionally. I was contacted early to discuss arrangements, and my car was collected by a friendly and courteous recovery lorry driver. I had never heard of this company before but my insurers recommended them after I had a car accident that was not my fault. With some trepidation I agreed. However I need not have worried. They did an excellent job at the Basingstoke branch. They kept me informed as to what repairs were necessary and when my car would be ready and they were true to their word. My car looked as good as new when they returned it. I was very pleased with them and would highly recommend them.

Very helpful, kept me posted all the way and tried (and succeeded) to get my car back to me as soon as possible; the staff I had direct dealings with deserve plaudits. It was an insurance claim/repair, so only had to pay the excess. However this was very easily done online.

I have been very pleased with the exceptional customer service and the ultimate result. There was a bit of a wait to get the car booked in but once picked up it had been turned around very quickly and faster than the original timeline. Would greatly recommend. Car now looks better than new! I actually happened to take it to MOT right after and the garage folks couldn’t tell which side of the vehicle was subject to a lorry collision. Great work

Solus repaired damage to the rear bumper of our car as part of an insurance claim. They clearly explained what the repair entailed and managed our expectations throughout. The repair was completed within the time scales they said and to a very high standard. They collected and returned our vehicle at the agreed times. The only very minor issue, was a phone call from Solus to say the vehicle would be collected shortly. When it fact it had already been collected, which caused a minutes of concern. But was quickly cleared up.

Our car was referred to Solus by our insurance company for repairs to a front wing and door following a close encounter with a large truck. We were kept well-informed of the repair status once the car had arrived at the Solus workshops in Coventry. The original target date was missed by a couple of days, but this was of little consequence. The car was transported back to our address by a friendly, helpful driver who assisted with starting the vehicle when we found the battery was too flat to operate the starter motor (the car had been out of commission for a month, so presumably the engine had not been turned on much in that time). The only, minor disappointment is that we found the car had acquired a small ding to the rear bumper, but this should be easy to tidy up with emery paper a little touch-up paint. Overall, dealing with Solus has been a very pleasant experience, and we are delighted with the standard of repairs to the car. Our thanks to the whole team.

We had hailstone damage on our cherished vehicle, it was pretty bad, we were kept informed by the insurance company on a regular basis as they were inundated with repairs in the same area, considering this, the timescale was quite minimal, when Solus took over the repair, we were kept informed right through the process, our biggest fear, was the vehicle would be written off, the repair was done to the highest standard, the vehicle was delivered fully cleaned and valeted, and the man said, any problems, the work is guaranteed. Cannot find anything to fault, the service was very professional, we were loaned a car, but didn’t need to use it. Faultless easy service, Thank you

My car looks as good as new, they were able to repair all issues and kept me updated on when everything will be finished. There were delays with the parts but they called me to let me know which I appreciated. I had to rush to get my car delivered but they managed to do it in a time that suits me. The delivery person was also great. Overall great service!

From the initial arrangements for the work, right through it’s completion Solus was a pleasure to deal with. I was kept informed throughout the process. The pick up/drop off service was excellent. The work returned the damaged car to showroom condition. I am very happy with the work and while I obviously hope I never need them again, would not hesitate to use Solus in the future. Highly recommended.
