Steve Miller Hair Workshop, Banbury

I lived in London most of my life, and I am used to top west end salons. When I moved to Oxfordshire I kept hearing about this little treasure of a salon and I thought I would try it. I am so glad I did as it was a revelation! Small but beautifully appointed with excellent attention to detail, the Owner of 30 years or so Steve has obviously got this off to perfection.

Great service, and most of all superb haircut. Well worth the money, and the best salon outside London without a doubt in my opinion.

Small salon with a very friendly atmosphere. Emma the 'junior' stylist does an excellent job on my hair and goes the extra mile to make sure I'm happy. The results are every bit as good as I got from an expensive London stylist.

It's very hard to find a good hairdresser, and part of me is reluctant to write this in case I suddenly find it very hard to get an appointment! But this hairdresser seems to be little known, probably because of their out-of-the-way location (Deddington, a village south of Banbury, Oxfordshire), and they deserve the praise. They are quite expensive but they are excellent. I've been going there ever since I first discovered it and I always get fantastic service, particularly from Dave who cuts my hair. He always listens carefully and then, by some mysterious hairdresser magic, makes it work on my really quite difficult hair. The cut is always top-notch and falls into place beautifully between appointments. The colourist (Charlotte) is also excellent and very knowledgeable about what will and won't work. I would recommend them to anyone.
