I read this book using a road map book as a guide, I can honestly say it was like being there, clear photographs, interesting informative and sometimes humourous writing, very easy to read. I would recommend this book to anyone visiting Wales even if they do not own a motorbike, I got my copy from Abergavenny bus station for 5.99 which I consider quite reasonable value.

Without doubt the best travel book about Wales written this century. Gives clear and concise directions to each place mentioned in the book with colour photographs and interesting and historic facts. Written by a biker about a journey of 1100 miles in the pouring rain through some of the most beautiful countryside in the world, this book makes you want to go out and buy a motorbike just to follow in the authers tracks. The book details roads, places of interest, stopovers and a unique insight to what it is like to ride one of the most powerful motorcycles in the world.
