I have never struggled so much to deal with a travel company in my life. Constantly receiving false promises and no assistance. For example, called on Monday asking for my refund details and agent asures me they will be sent to me by the end of the day. Shocking company. Will not refund my flights due to covid. They keep saying that they can't refund me as airline haven't refunded them. I contacted the airline directly and they confirmed that dream world travel have not at any point contacted them regarding my case. I booked through DWT and I received my booking confirmation but no e-tickets. I called them and sent email and requested my e-tickets, they dealt with my request and sent me the e-tickets, I did had to chase for this as their policy states they can issue e-tickets closer to the time of travel, I find this policy a bit weird as I’m used getting my e-tickets immediately. be aware.... have to wait 40 minutes to deal with customer service and then they are no help at all. in our case we simply want to change the date on on of our flights as we cannot get a covid test within 3 days of arrival. Cutting a long story short. I booked and paid for a flight last July 2019, with DWT, for a flight to Singapore for May thus year. With the lockdown and restrictions, I remained patient for my refund. Our flight was cancelled and so we requested a refund 5 months ago and still we have received nothing. When we requested our refund it was for a cash refund and we said that we would not accept a travel voucher, now after 5 months of waiting and back of forthing casing it up, they said they have sent us a travel voucher. Please save yourself the hassle and avoid this company at all costs. If you can take the time to read all of this then please do. I had a flight booked through Dreamworld Travel which was cancelled by Qatar Airways. I am now waiting for a refund from DWT and had nothing but problems. Customer support is a complete joke. Immediately inform your bank if you used their services and they should help you issue a chargeback. if they cannot help because of the 6-8 weeks 'waiting time' then immediately email DWT to refund within 15 days.
if you still dont get it within this, and you used bank transfer/services, credit/debit card, call bank and ask for a chargeback. for credit card one could issue a section 75. if you used other payment methods, ask the company to issue chargeback. one option is to use small claims court or lawyer.
do not waste time, take action right now. only the bank or court can get any refund due.
once you have done the work for refund, inform action fraud to help save others too. copy and share this genuine review that i made from my experience to help others too.

I have notified the DREAM WORLD that I was cancelling my flight to Minst one week before the flight as requested by Dream World. Welcome to the world of Dreams where all your travel dreams come true!’ This is in the About Us section on their website. What a joke!!!!!! This could not be further from the truth. I Immediately informed bank to issue a chargeback. I email DWT to refund within two weeks and only then bank intervened. If issue chargeback would not work I would go to small claims court or lawyer. I did not waste time. Help from bank or court are best according to me.
I informed my distress to CMA COVID TASK FORCE and action fraud to help save others too. Cma covid task force works for consumer protection

I have the same horrific experienced with dreamworld travel.. It's a nightmare actually. They have taken my money, and I'm going to have to take them to court to get it back. Absolutely do not use them under any circumstances. If you happen to be foolish enough to use them, make sure you use a credit card, not a debit card. I tried to book a flight through DWT on 17 May 2020. I paid more than £2000. I have been through the same situation with this company, they told me they had made the reservation sent me a confirmation email, and told me tickets will be issued 10 days prior the flight. I had checked with the airline and was told no reservation was made on my name and that I should provide the ticket number( no tickets issued in the first place so that was impossible to do) that got me worried as I had made full payment and no tickets so I was calling and emailing them frantically, finally as my call was connected after a long queue and calls being cut off for no reason what so ever, I was told my flight was cancelled. My first thought was why was I not notified of the cancellation, also why a 10 day wait before tickets are issued when full payment is made there is literally no security for the passenger. I claimed for a refund which was done by the agent himself since the website refund claim form didn't work- surprised? Not! Provided me with a reference number which once again did not work- i was told refund will be with me in 6-12 weeks becsuse they had made payment to the airline and have applied for a refund with the airline- the airline didn't have my reservation I wasn't provided tickets so therefore DWT didn't pay anything to the airline which they needed time to make a claim back for! I also arranged flights with Turkish airlines shortly after and due to my flights being cancelled again, I was returned my refund within 2 days of calling them. Do not book.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I had to cancel my flight to Porto. Dream World Travel were not responsive to my request for cancellation. Eventually, after three days, I heard back from DreamWorldTravel. I did get a refund of £12 on a ticket that cost me £94. 19 MARCH UPDATE:
Nightmare World Travel (aka Dream World Travel) contacted me yesterday. Not so much to see how they could help me, but to request I change my review of them on Trustpilot. Apparently, they believe they should not be depicted like that.

Dream World Travel booked my ticket on TAP. TAP now allows for a change of the ticket into a TAP voucher for the same amount of the ticket. As I stupidly booked through Dream World Travel, I cannot make this change online with TAP direct. Instead I have to go through Dream World Travel, who are not responsive to e-mails, calls (can't even get through on the phone. It says "user busy"). So, I am totally in limbo and uncertain I will ever see my ticket converted into a TAP voucher, a process that would have been straightforward had I booked direct with the airline


FURTHER UPDATE:
My nightmare with Dream World Travel continues today. Even though TAP (the airline DWT booked me on) has adapted their cancellation policy due to COVID-19, DWT refuses to refund me in full.

To make matters worse, I receive an e-mail today from TAP inviting me to upgrade my ticket to business class. This can only be because the horrendous DWT haven't even cancelled the TAP ticket yet which they should have done yesterday.

Most likely, DWT will cancel it sometime, receive the full refund from the airline, pay me only £12 on a ticket of £94 and pocket the difference.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!


UPDATE ON PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Eventually, after three days, I heard back from DreamWorldTravel. I did get a refund of £12 on a ticket that cost me £94. And to add insult to injury, I have to wait for it to be credited to my account between 4 and 6 weeks.

I cancelled other travel, like Eurostar and AirBnB, and I received a full refund due to the COVID-19 extenuating circumstances. TAP (where DreamWorldTravel booked my ticket) has a similar free booking change policy in place due to COVID-19. It would have been so much easier to re-book free of charge online direct with TAP rather than having to go through Dream World Travel who are totally non-responsive, lazy and unprofessional in not even reflecting the new COVID-19 policies of the airline they are intermediating instead applying their normal circumstances cancellation policy.

As a travel agent, Dream World Travel has negative added value: I pay them a booking fee which wouldn’t be necessary if I had booked on TAP direct, it is a lot more hassle with ticket confirmations, and they hinder rather than help in case of cancellation/rebooking due to extenuating circumstances. I will never use Dream World Travel again and advise others to do the same.

OLD REVIEW:
Three days now without any kind of reply on my e-mail / WhatsApp to cancel/refund my flight due to the Corona virus outbreak. I fear I am going to be swindled out of any refund. I also strongly doubt whether the many positive reviews are genuine travellers who booked through Dream World Travel. The increasing number of bad reviews seem to tell another story.

I decided to cancel my booking and the cancellation amount which they quoted me was much higher than Terms. When I raised this with dream travel you never receive any response. I provided them all the evidence including airlines cancellation fees but still no response. On the 10/01/2020 we booked 2 flights to Brisbane Australia from London Heathrow on Singapore Airlines. We received a confirmation email and a flight reservation email plus an Air Reservation No. which proved to be false. Having spent the best part of 4 hours trying to contact Dream World Travel with no replies to messages or emails to date. I also tried their online chat was 4th in a queue to start got to 1st in the queue for at least an hour and a half before I had to abandon the chat line as I had other things to do. Finally on 18/01/20 an email from a lady. Was not happy at first as she said I was in an automatic ticketing queue, this I queried as the company had opened a booking request and then cancelled it the same day so could not have been in a queue. A further email at 18.09 and to my surprise our e-tickets had arrived, having spoken to Singapore Airlines I still had concerns that these tickets could be cancelled at a future date which was confirmed by them.
Then this morning 20/01/20 at around 08.45 am the same lady telephoned me to say my e-tickets had been sent, so I told her of my concern of cancellation and she assured me that this would not happen unless I cancelled or there was a schedule alteration with the airline.
She also said she would put this in writing for me, which she did and I received the email this morning at 08.50 am. I am now satisfied that our flights are okay, but will still be checking Singapore Airlines daily just for peace of mind. Would have given a hire star rating if customer service where easier to access and as we are in our 70's could have done without the stress.

I have received my e-tickets which have been confirmed by Singapore Airlines, still checking with them every day to be sure they have not been cancelled. The only way I was able to get Dream World Travels attention was to bombard them with the same email. I wrote an email of compliant and told the I was talking to my Credit card company about getting my money back if they didn't get my tickets. I sent the email then copied and paste the same email and sent it over a dozen times, did the trick they got back to me the same day and the e-tickets arrived later that evening.
