Excellent service at the Gatwick North Terminal, prompt response on arrival and a speedy handover. Phoned after picking bags up on return and car and Rash', the driver were waiting by the time we walked to the collection point. Help-me-Park provided a very hassle free and speedy service.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM! Left car with them at Gatwick and they returned with a 20.5" (52cm) crack down the driver's side of the windscreen. Their response: I am sorry to hear that your windscreen has developed a crack and we can fully understand your frustration. We obviously cannot say for certain how this occurred but would imagine, as with most cracks, this resulted from a stone chip which could have occurred at any time and is an adverse consequence of driving on public highways. Unfortunately we cannot be held liable for damage to glass including windscreens. Please refer to our terms and conditions which are available at our website. terms-and-conditions Which states: 1. HMP will not accept any liability for any damage to the paintwork or bodywork of the vehicle, damage to any glass or wheels caused by road conditions or debris or punctures caused as a result of driving on the public highway during normal use for the purposes of conducting the parking contract except when proven to be as a result of the negligence, wilful act or breach of statutory duty of HMP, its servants or agents. “Do not use”

I recently used this company's meet-and-greet service at Gatwick airport. I had just had the car washed before dropping it off and went on vacation for 10 days. When I returned to collect my car it was covered in huge splotches of birds’ faeces. I took photographs of the worst affected areas and shared these with the company. It was so bad that marks remained even after the car was washed again. This was the response of the customer complaints department: We are sorry that your vehicle was returned to you with bird mess on the rear. We have a system in place that should any driver notice a vehicle that is dirty, they should ensure that it is cleaned before returning it to our customers. This obviously was not done and resulted in your vehicle being returned dirty, and for this we are truly sorry. We do not offer any undercover parking and all of our secure car parks are open to the elements. We also do not offer a valeting service. Your vehicle was parked with us for 12 days inclusive. All of our customer’s vehicles are parked in rows and do become dirty. Please see our terms and conditions Which state: 42. HMP will not accept any liability for any damage to the paintwork or bodywork of the vehicle, damage to any glass or wheels caused by road conditions or debris or punctures caused as a result of driving on the public highway during normal use for the purposes of conducting the parking contract except when proven to be as a result of the negligence, wilful act or breach of statutory duty of HMP, its servants or agents. Initially when we came to drop our car off the guy was very nice and friendly. We gave him our car and felt it was in good hands. We came back from holiday a day later than we booked. My mother called them and explained and they were happy to keep it for another day and just to pay £10 when we pick the car up. Fab! We turned up to collect our car and was told they will be about 10 minutes as they need to collect it and bring it to us.our flight came in earlier than expected. We waited for around half an hour to which the guy said I'm really sorry but we had to change the drivers because we couldn't get a 6 foot 4 driver into your car. The weather was extremely Icy and was Infact -8. When my partner went to get into the drivers side he couldn't open the door from the outside I hoped into the passengers side and opened it from the inside. We just assumed that because it was so cold that it had iced up a bit. We drove down the road about an hour and parked to go to the shop. When we came back to the car my partner tried to open the drivers side door. It was at this point we realised that it was Infact broken and couldn't be opened from the outside. I immediately called the office and they said that I would have to wait until the office opened and gave me a time. I called the office at the time they stayed and they said no were wrong call back on this time. After trying a further time I spoke to a lady and again explained the situation she said for me to email over everything. I did what they asked and waited for a reply. Still waiting I emailed them again and again and again. I called twice and finally spoke to someone who said they will have to do an investigation. I then heard nothing so I contacted them again and the guy on the phone would not allow me to speak. He spoke over me and just kept saying that it's a mechanical fault but they will investigate. After me trying to speak and him not allowing me I put the phone down. I then heard nothing again for a few days and called them back, it was the same guy he apologised for speaking over me and then tried to listen to what I had to say. He said that can I get an estimate and send it to them about the damage and find what the cause was to then see who is liable. I went to many garages to find the cheapest price and found a quote. I asked the garage what could have caused this and they said it has been from sheer force trying to open the door that has snapped the bracket off inside this was not a mechanical fault. I then explained my situation and they gave me all the details for them to contact them and launch their investigation. I called the company back up and explained he asked me to send it over. I sent it over and heard nothing for a week. I called and they said that the guy that deals with it isn't in but he'll let him know. I explained that this really isn't on and his reply was he will be in touch Monday. It's now Tuesday after the Monday and after having to send yet another email asking they have replied saying they have asked the drivers they have all said no so they won't do anything about it because they presume it's a mechanical fault. Of course the drivers are going to say they haven't done anything! They haven't contacted the garage or anything. I am not in the process of court proceedings. A company like this Should not get away with acting like this. First of all breaking my car then the bad customer service to now not even taking responsibility! I am so angry as this car was bought for me as a Christmas present and they have broken it!

Since posting reviews and even more emails back and forth with them not taking responsibility, i stated I would be getting a report from the garage for them and to go to a small claims court as they hadn't even phoned the garage. After many emails I then received a phone call firstly apologising for the customer service and stating that he Infact had read everything between me and the guy dealing with it and took it upon himself to contact the garage. They will now take responsibility and pay for the damage caused. Finally!!! I emailed them my bank details and the money for the car was in my bank account before the end of the day.

Yes I received my money but what I had to go through to get it and the sheer inconvenience it caused was ridiculous. I am happy that justice was served in the end after battling with them for so long. I would still never use their service again and still recommend to not use them.

Used this company in the early hours of the morning on 16 August 2014. Quick response to our call from motorway to say we would be arriving in 10 mins. After waiting for 5 mins, we rang and were told a staff member was on their way. Within mins our collection was complete. Staff member was friendly and efficient. On our return journey, on Wednesday 27th, around 1pm, again, our phone call was promptly answered, and directions to hotel parking bay, were good. Our car was waiting for us, with a friendly greeting from the female staff member. We would definitely recommend this company and use again.

I used another Gatwick company called Diamond, who were pretty good .. or so I thought, just found out that help-me-park have taken over the Diamond business and things have improved immeasurably. Clearly I had underestimated just how good a valet parking company could be. phone process much smoother , very clear instructions and our driver was waiting for us at arrival and our car was waiting for us on our return. All very smooth and hassle free and happily no price increase, good to see an OK company get better when taken over as that has not always been my experience

After using Help-me-park for many years I felt obliged to publish a good review about them as I have seen that some other companies do not supply the same high level of customer care that these guys do. They really are very reliable and amongst the most polite and friendly bunch of guys you are likely to meet. So if you are looking for what most likely is the best valet meet and greet supplier at Gatwick then I would suggest Help-me-park. My son in law who opted for what appeared to be a cheaper supplier was left stranded waiting for his car for some 40 minutes. Thankfully my wife & I did not have to wait for him.

“Be aware don't use!”

I booked my parking via essential travel, once booked I had confirmation that my booking was with Help Me Park. On collection of my car I looked all around the outside and everything looked ok.. When leaving the airport I noticed my car radio display had two deep scratches which were not there when I left my car . I reported the issue to help me park and I received a response from Barry the MD to say Help Me Park will not accept responsibility for the damage!

“Do not use !”

I left my car for 2 weeks. On the return of my car the passanger door had been damaged. A car door had been opened onto it causing paintwork damage. Help-me-park admitted responsibility & agreed to pay for the repair. However 2 months later they are still haggling to get away with a cheap bodge repair rather than paying for a proper repair. I have given up & handed over the claim to my insurers. I will not use them again.

“Don't go near them”

Utterly, utterly awful - ended up having to be fastracked through the airport in order to make our outbound flight thanks to their very poor service (50 mins from call to pick up) and waited over an hour (call to delivery) for our car on return, but worse than that were the constant lies both ways. On return, we called (yet again) to see where our car was to be told it had just left (again!), we then saw a man pull up in another car (delivered to equally fed up customers), run across and jump in a "Help me park" van then the same man turned up with our car 20mins later. I could have coped with the long wait better if they'd been honest at the start - I can't abide liars. Don't go near them, there are many much better valet parking companies at Gatwick.

“What a poor service”

I have used other meet and greet services many times before, but this company was definitely below par. For dropping off the car, they said in their email: 'We will send you a text message half an hour before your scheduled arrival time.' This didn't happen. We had to phone them, and were told the car would be collected at the agreed time. It wasn't. We had to wait 45 minutes, and received no contact from them during that time. We had to phone them three times to find out what was going on. Each time they said a driver was on his way - this clearly wasn't the case. We were hassled by traffic wardens, security and police. We were about to rush the car to a public car park when their driver turned up. Had we gone to the car park and got the bus back to the terminal, we would have missed our flight. As it was, we were late for check-in and didn't have time to eat before the flight. Not a great way to start a holiday. Their confirmation email said they guaranteed prompt collection. That certainly wasn't our experience. We complained when we returned, and found the response was slow. We had to chase, though they did eventually apologise and give us our money back.

“Absolutely Superb Service”

My previous experience with airport parking has been quite hit and miss, but I'm more than happy to recommend this service to everyone. The drop off site was very easy to find, and despite being 1/2 hour early I was met within 5 mins, so no hanging around. Even better on the return journey (midnight), there was no waiting time at all, just off the flight and into the car. Perfect!! All staff I delt with were very polite and courteous. Many thanks for such a good service. 10/10

“Never again like this”

I booked Gatwick airport meet and greet via Essential Travel and found that it was being operated by 'Help-me-park'. Instructions said we would get a text 30 minutes from arrival. None arrived so we phoned to say arriving in 15 minutes. They said OK but we had to wait for nearly 20 minutes on a double yellow line. When the man arrived he admitted their system was at fault - and gave me a complaints card. I complained and asked for their 'No Waiting, money back guarantee'. They said (a) I was not entitled as not booked direct and (b) you have to wait more than 20 minutes to be eligible! This is and I told them, ridiculous as (a) you can't call that no waiting and (b) you should not legally park for 20 minutes in a drop off zone. I have told them I would never use them - or Essential Travel - again.

I have used this company and was very surprised to see any bad press. As I use them regularly I asked if they knew about the bad comments. interestingly they said yes they did and it appeared that rival companies were using the review centre to run down the competition.
For my part I have always had great service from the guys at Help-me-park, and i will continue to use then for my valet parking at Gatwick.

I would recommend Help-me-park to all season travellers who are fed up with being messed about.

I have been messed about by other Gatwick valet meet and greet parking companies who were to be fair a little cheaper, so I decided to pay the little extra for the company that did appear to have the best web site and best reviews but were slightly more money.

I was totally relieved as the service was fantastic, they texted me , called me and liaised as I arrived at the airport. The driver was uniformed and polite, they carried out a full check of my car and fully explained the return proces

Best still on my return again a text , a call and my car pulled up just as I walked onto the terminal .

THIS IS HOW ALL COMPANIES SHOULD OPERATE - I guess as the old adage goes ' you get what you pay for !! '

We chose Help-me-park.com because of its professional website, its cast-iron guarantees and mainly because it was the only site that actually stated clearly that they would meet us directly outside the terminal! Their email booking confirmation came within minutes of the online booking and their instructions were clear. On the day of our departure, h-m-p texted half an hour before our arrival as promised. However, we made good time and found ourselves arriving 10 minutes early, so we called them again as we approached and they were happy to meet us earlier than planned and right outside the doors of the Gatwick South terminal. Again, as promised!

On our return, it was the same high level of service. We were texted within minutes of landing, called them as we left the baggage reclaim area as instructed and, as we exited the terminal doors, our car pulled up in the same spot as we had dropped-off several days before. The staff at all times were courteous, helpful and professional and how often can we say that these days about a company. We found help-me-park an all-round excellent service and, for us as first time users, they made it the most stress-free trip through the airport we have had in ages! We shall certainly be telling everyone we know about them.
