“Bed bug mattress ”

“Poor Customer Service / Product”

Ordered dining table and chairs and after waiting six weeks for item I had to take a day off of work for the delivery. Aside from the fact the delivery men wore dirt shoes on my new carpet I was informed that the chairs were not assembled and they could take them back, assemble them and bring them back the following day. After ordering our carpet on the 21st April we were told there will be 4 or 5 week wait, which was fine as we couldn't have it fitted until our kitchen was replaced, and the mess from that cleared up. We had ordered a glass top dining table in December '12 when it arrived it was damages as were one of the dining chairs (hole worn through chair top) we advised Glasswells of this and they agreed to replace the table top and chair. “Should have listened to other's warnings”

Ordered 4 items of Oak bedroom furniture from Glasswells (totalling ~£1000) and surprise, surprise the 2 larger items were faulty (£750 of the £1000). 2 draws that would not remain shut (runners not on straight) on different units, and one with obvious damage but still delivered. I can understand your review on Glasswells, they are so bad because they think they have the market sewn up, their Managing Director is the most arrogant person you could meet and this goes down the line to his staff.

I have spent over £7000 on carpets.
I went to Glasswell's thinking I would get good value and quality.
After 6 months, sections have had to be refitted 3 times. despite being a 'quality' carpet they show all the furniture marks, more than indepedent fitted carpets in our last house after 8 years. We still have a section that needs refitting, but get told it is down to stretching (it was visible after a week).
Also, they mis-quoted and tried to bill an extra £150 to get them fitted!
