'Killing in the name' is a classic track by Rage Against the Machine. It was released in 1992 and was their first single, from their self-titled album Rage Against the Machine. It's getting a resurgence recently due to a Facebook group that has started to try and get it to be this year's Christmas number one instead of the usual X-Factor single. Currently the campaign appears to be going rather well, we'll have to wait and see if the sales actually roll in!
The track itself is probably their best-known track and for good reason - it's an absolute powerhouse! Thundering unison bass and guitar riffs pound out in the chorus, with Zack de la Rocha belting out indignant vocals in typical RATM style. Play this on a crowded indie dancefloor and watch the mayhem ensue! Always great to hear.

I won't buy this one or the X-factory (sic) one because I don't like either of them.

<br/>And is Simon Cowell so wrapped up in his world that he thinks thousands of people are plotting against him personally - does he really think he's that important?!!
