Its a classic German style pilsner and it tastes refreshing with 0% alcohol in it. The quality of the beer is really good.

One way of two dry days a week. Also to keep on the safe limit, 2 normal alcohol pints and 2 bottles of Alcohol Free a day to keep the doctor away! I recently abstained from alcohol as I was on Antibiotics .Taking Becks Blue,I was ok ,being a 3/4 pint drinker! I have a sympathetic landlord that charged me £3 for two bottles. I am a larger drinker and the taste was ok.Leave the gas settle after being poured,as bottled beer can be quite gassy!

I've tasted becks blue 0%. And comparing to other 0% beers it tastes absolutely awful. It simply fizz and a bitter chemical flavour. Try Erdinger or Heineken zero.. At least they taste of beer.

I was very surprised how good becks blue is, having to lose some weight I thought I would try it and it does the trick for me a pack of 15 for £8 in Asda. I love a drink most days and after work this will help just make sure its been chilled.

I am astounded at the price charged for a small bottle of this Becks Blue ! I was recently charged £3-40 for a small bottle, I questioned the price as I thought maybe the price was shown as a pint price, but no. Full one pint Lagers or beers cost £2 75 per pint in this same pub. This product ( and others ) should be SOFT DRINKS !

Sounds like you'e better off drinking alone at home if you're not prepared to pay the extra when you go out.
Pubs/restaurants need to charge the inflated price to make it worthwhile stocking slow moving stock like this. You may think it's unfair but they have to go to the shop and buy it, store it, heat the restaurant and turn the lights on for you to sit in there to drink it and pay staff to listen to you moan about the price.
Then in 6 months time they have to pay a waste collection company to come and collect the out of date bottles they throw away because demand for non-alcoholic beer isn't there (but they still bought it to try and keep you happy).

I fully agree. Iive Blackpool and am charged £2.10 per 275ml bottle.
6 bottles from Tesco which is 25 yards up the street is only £3,50.
Therefore the pub is receiving £12.60 for something that can be bought for £3,50.
When I went to school my not so lame brain didn't get into second gear to calculate that the pub is absolutely blatantly robbing me of £9.10 every 6 bottles.
I haven't named the pub because some sneaky git may spill the beans on a not so costly solution. Wear a coat with 2 very large inside pockets. go to Tesco and get a 6 pack. Split em up into 2 bottles each inside pocket. and 2 in your outer pockets. Go to bar - buy one for £2.10 - hold on to the bottle and replace from pocket when new one required and it's up yours pal! Just don't get caught!
It is scandalous the prices charged in view of Governments Policy regarding alcohol dependency and related health issues and if enough people got together surely the top dogs would be forced to admit that they are legally stealing from us with a smile. No one would mind 75p or £1 to cover use of pubs facilities. Blackpool lad can't have alcohol anymore cos ruined the one I have - but still going strong

Get to Aldi chaps.
Went ths morning and cleared a whole pallette at £2.75 per 6 pack.
The girl at the cashout looked at me like I was some sort of gutter rat.
She probably doesn't know the product is no alcohol. But - what shop girl in any shop knows what she is selling to you anyway as long as the till goes beep. I watching that one and I'll get em as fast as they can stack em. They take no upkeep in the garage!

Really good non-alcoholic beer , just a shame that it costs the same as a normal bottle in my local as always its cheaper to eat and drink unhealthy !!!

This is the worst non-alcoholic beer I have ever tried! Wasn't flat but had an awful after taste! Have tried a few non-alcoholic beers and enjoyed them but couldn't have more than 2 sips of this... a definite no from me!

I personally think that BECKS BLUE is a great alternative to real larger. In an attempt to cut down my alcohol consumption I have been drinking BRCKS BLUE beer and think it tastes just as good as larger that has alcohol in it! I enjoy the taste of alcohol and having an ice cold beer, this is no different!!! With the added bonus of being alcohol free, fewer toxins, being lighter in calories and no hangover in the morning!!

I cannot drink alcohol ever again as I became dependent on it. Now when I go to the pub as I like to socialise I drink becks blue . Has completely changed my life and I recomend this drink to all you alcoholics , of alcohol dependants out there. You can still go out have a good time, and keep sober and healthy at the same time. Tastes just the same as ordinary becks .

I could drink this if it didn't taste like chilled day old beer. The taste is right but it just has no fizz. Fix that and it would be perfect.

I was very surprised how good it was . They've got it spot on for flavour .no more drinking driving.no more injured livers . yes only a little bottle for now 250g is not big enough , maybe 330g would be better .but it certainly comes in useful on occasions.so don't knock it .try it .

First discovered this beer when working on Oil Tankers where we couldn't drink. Having tried so many deeply disappointing non alcoholic beers our hopes weren't high but we were pleasantly surprised. As a few of the other reviewers point out, it goes flat quicker than normal larger and if not chilled it tastes a bit different but in general when chilled well it tastes as good as it's alcoholic version. The biggest complaint I have as that in the UK it is only available in 250ml bottle so realistically you need 2 for a pint which makes it very very expensive. Becks - if you are reading these please either do this on draft or at the least in 500ml bottles!

I used to be a big drinker so big I was damaging my health. This had to stop, so I tried going without... That didn't work. I tried alcohol free wine, it was vile. This becks tastes just like beer. By far the best I have tasted so don't listen to the bad reviews. I wish more pubs would sell this! Now I can enjoy my time with friends, staying healthy but not going without. Great beer.

I was banned from driving for drink driving ,now I am applying for my License back ,I would still like to be able to go out and enjoy my evenings with friends, thankfully becks blue will allow me to feel like I am part of the group and not putting my life or anyone else's in jeopardy in the future ,The government should help encourage reducing the cost of alcohol free beer for the benefit of drivers and saving lives.

Good beer for its type. Yes a slight after taste but the taste is good. Highly recommend them. Just wish you could get it on tap.

I drank one earlier today it just said Beck's non alcoholic beer and I swear to god, it tasted like laundry... Almost threw up. I mean really. By far the worst tasting beer in the world. Literally someone payed me $5 to finish it and I almost couldn't do it. And again, laundry...

I really enjoy Beck's Blue as a drink, especially as I choose not to drink alcohol at the moment. It is quite embarrassing to ask a friend to buy you a drink when it is so expensive in a Pub or restaurant. In supermarkets the price varies, but I have located it in more than one for less than 50p per bottle. Why do breweries ask such a mark up, as surely they should be encouraging people to drink less alcohol and should be making it easier for drivers looking for a tasty alternative to the real thing.

I have to say that this is just as good as the normal alcoholic version. It tastes just as great, though I have only ever tasted it chilled and not out of the sideboard like some others, and very refreshing. It is a better choice than Coke or Pepsi when you are the designated driver, plus you feel like you are drinking like everyone else and don't feel left out. Taht said, when drinking it in a pub you still feel a little like you have had a few. I think that that is more down to the effects of the breathing in of everyone else's alcohol rather than Becks Blue.

There's some people who'll say "What's the point in Alcohol free beer you might as well drink coke?" I've seen this a number of times. There's various reasons why someone might choose an alcohol free beer instead. Designated drivers or perhaps someone who likes beer, but wants to cut down on their alcohol intake. I personally wouldn't want to keep drinking coke because it's to sweet. I've tried various Alcohol free beers off of the supermarket shelf's and Beck blue is my favourite so far. Most don't have enough bitterness, but becks blue does. The Alcohol Becks is much better than other mainstream lagers anyway and Becks blue is certainly much better than say Budweiser or Carling. It has that strong larger taste without the alcohol. I really enjoyed Becks blue and it doesn't contain added E405 like Kaliber does.

Becks Blue actually tastes good, and for those who enjoy it for that reason alone, it's well worth the money. So, on the basis of that major, major plus point - most alcohol free beer is absolutely dire - I'll give you the negatives 1) Only available in 275ml bottles in UK - In Germany it's sold in 330 and 500ml(!). 2)Because of its lack of alcohol, it does not chill the same way normal beers do. I give this as an opinion only, and in regard of the way it feels on the palette. Try one out of the freezer compartment on a hot day; it's definitely not as quenching as the boozy version. 3)Recovering alcoholics beware - Drinking vast quantities of Becks Blue can feel like a desperate quest for something that isn't there. In fact, it's not a good idea at all. Stick to tea or juice. 4)Alcohol-free beer is a bit like Odorless perfume. It closely resembles the real thing but its most enjoyable attribute is absent. Frustrating!
